BLASTERZ
Long ago, an ancient evil Lovecraft like beings called Thot'ti landed on Earth from a dimension far far away. These beings laid dormant until they were unleashed. They are undetectable, but manifest in the biologically females of various species, primarily humans. It can influence the behaviors of females in species, and have recently became more prominent as they began to possess the females of humans. It is up to a group of warriors, THOT'TI destroyers, to find and vanquish these demonic beings. I'm really excited guys I've thought of this archetype for a long time and I've been thinking of ways to make it work. Its a pretty cool Lovecraftian story focused on epic grand scale battles between the ordinary and unordinary. This archetype has 2 sets, kinda like how true dracos and true kings. We have the Thot'ti and the THOTTI destroyers. The Thot'ti have a style of their own which involves taking control of the opponents card and using it to beat them with, while the destroyers are all aggressive and emphasize control on your own cards. Overall, I hope you guys like the card designs I came up with anyway thanks. THOT'TI OVERLORDCannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned by Tributing a Monster that originally does not belong to you. When this card is summoned, destroy all other monsters you control, except monsters you control which originally belong to your opponent. If this card battles a monster, you can then, immediately take control of the monsters this card battled. That monster cannot attack during this turn. This card cannot be destroyed by battle and you take no damage from any battle involving this card. This card seems really hard to summon but it is actually pretty easy. The first route is pretty simple, take control of a monster your opponent control with cards like Big Eye, Mind Control or Brain Control. Mind Control prevents tributing however, limiting you to Brain Control, but that card like you have to target a not spell immune Master Peace. The second route is the route everyone knows, let your opponent kaiju your cards. You then tribute the kaijus and its so easy. THOT'TI CLASS If you control a THOT'TI monster, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. You can give control of this card to your opponent, and have this card gain 3000 ATK. No cards effects can prevent this card from attacking. Let's you do some cool Xyz Play with Rank 1, but the idea here is you drop this, give it to your opponent, and when Overlord hits this, you take him, then attack again with a 3000 beater. Pretty cool yeah? Otherwise, you can just give control of one of it with the next card I'm about to reveal, special summon the other, and have it attack the weaker one for 3000 damage. DESTROY ALL THOT'TI Destroy all monsters on the field, except monsters that originally does not belong to the player's control, then both players select 1 monster from their deck, and special summon it to their opponent's side of the field. You can banish this card from your Graveyard and give control of 1 monster you control to your opponent, add 1 THOT'ti monster from your deck to your hand. TRUST NO THOT'TI While this card is on the field, negate the effects of all face-up monsters only if they are controlled by their original's owners. Once per turn you can target 1 monster your opponent control, and switch control of it with a monster you control with a higher attack. Your opponent can however, give control of another monster instead granted if that other monster have a higher attack. You can only use this effect of TRUST NO THOT'ti once per turn. THOT'TI DESTROYER Controls of any cards cannot switch. If this card is involved in a battle, destroy this card without applying any damage calculation Wew there we have it. I will update the thread with more cards coming soon, I hope you guys enjoyed the cards and provide me with some feedback. So far they only have 2 members for their true kings side, and 1 member for their true draco side, and I intend to release more support cards soon enough. I hereby declare that the card I designed are my own personal creation and that Konami of America or Japan, who is the sole Creator of Yu-Gi-Oh! and who owns all property, does not have the right to recreate or reproduce my design into their game, and should any resemblence in the name or card description arise, I have the right to claim reparation and monetary payment for the unauthorized netdecking of my own ideas. Eshai
So my recommendations:1. THOT'TI Overload would technically destroy itself, so I think it should say "Destroy all monsters you control, except "THOT'TI" monsters and cards not originally owned by you." including other THOT'TI monsters would make the deck a bit better unless you're planning on making a couple more that have effects when they're destroyed. Otherwise just say "except this card." Also the restriction should just say "That monster cannot attack unless it's a THOT'TI monster." 2. THOT'TI Class is good, but the last effect isn't really necessary because of the effect additions I mentioned above. Instead, you could give it an ability, like "If this card is not owned by you, you cannot activate cards or effects during the battle phase." 3. THOT'TI Destroyer seems like a card that's just a placeholder if you don't want to give them a monster, but it could have similar effects to "THOT'TI Class" but with a different amount of atk, and maybe it makes the monster they control have 0 atk during the battle phase. Honestly if you're going to do something like this, make a monster that summons tokens for the archetype, and then give them the tokens the Duston treatment. 4. Destroy All THOT'TI is a bit broken, but for such a small archetype it's fine I guess. GY effect is also pretty cool. 5. it should say "original owner" not "original card", but the fact they can choose a different target and the once per turn clause make it a bit underpowered. Instead, you could make it so you have to give a "THOT'TI" monster and have it during either player's turn (although that might be a bit too broken). Otherwise pretty solid. The restrictions wise, I guess having it prevents the opp seems fair enough, but Class idea is to be a beater you can utilize and not be prevented by Overlord, though giving it the added eff may change the course of the mirror match.
