Cannot be Special Summoned. Neither player can Special Summon monsters with any of the same word(s) in their names as any face-up card on the field.

Yeah that is the shortest effect for a card that I've designed so far, and I'm proud of myself for it. This card is plain and simply put, VANITY'S FIEND FOR ARCHETYPES. In other words, if you're playing against a Deck that relies on Swarming the board based on an Archetype, this card comes in and says NOPE, so even Zoodiac or any other swarm-heavy Archetype in the future would be completely shut down by this one card. However, unlike Vanity's Fiend, both players are still allowed to Special Summon monsters, just as long as they have completely different names from each other. Example, if you control any face-up Zoodiac monster or even a Zoodiac Spell/Trap, you could not Special Summon any other Zoodiac monsters but if all your cards somehow became face-down on the field you could then Special Summon whatever you wanted. The plus is like I said you can still Special Summon anything as long as it doesn't have the same WORD OR WORDS (plural) in their names, so I could Special Summon Gilasaurus with its effect and then Special Summon Ultimate Conductor Tyranno no problem as both these cards have completely different names. BTW, this applies to actual supported Archetypes as well as random cards with the same individual words in their names, so basically 90% of all Dragon monsters in the game will get messed up by this card.

Enjoy.  :Kappa:  :Snoop Dogg:

Interesting in that it includes Spells/Traps. I'd if Monarchs would run this since they don't Special Summon the Monarchs all to often, but it sounds like it would be incredibly annoying to deal with. It would also be pretty nice for Battle Packs battles just as a 2400 beater that can stop your opponent from doing stuff ocasionally.
