ABC Gun
Artwork for this card done by https://www.pixiv.net/member.php?id=4253496 please support them when you can (This card's name is always treated as "Stardust Dragon".)Must be Special Summoned with its own effect or (from your Extra Deck) by sending face-up under your control to the GY any number of "Synchron" monsters and/or "Stardust" or "Warrior" Synchro Monsters whose total Levels exactly equal 8, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. (This Special Summon is treated as a Synchro Summon.) You can only Special Summon "Stardust Dragon" once per turn. During either player's Main Phase, if a monster(s) would be Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, or if a card/effect is activated that would destroy a card(s) on the field (Quick Effect): You can negate the Summon or activation and destroy that card(s), and if you do, immediately after this effect resolves; Synchro Summon 1 monster using monsters you control as the materials including this card. Once per either End Phase, if this effect was activated this turn (and was not negated): You can Special Summon this card from your GY. Did anyone think that Konami missed some potential when they made Ultimaya Tzolkin (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Ultimaya_Tzolkin) and its evolution Phantasmal_Lord_Ultimitl_Bishbaalkin (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Phantasmal_Lord_Ultimitl_Bishbaalkin). So, I came up with this card as its Summoning conditions are nearly similar, except with this card you could literally Synchro Summon it with 1 monster. TO BE CLEAR, THIS CARD'S SUMMONING CONDITION IS ANY NUMBER FROM 1 TO 6 (including the Extra Monster Zone), SYNCHRON MONSTERS AND/OR STARDUST SYNCHROS OR WARRIOR SYNCHROS WHOSE TOTAL LEVELS ARE EXACTLY LEVEL 8 (the archetype NOT the monster type). Its main effects are similar to the original Stardust Dragon, only it also covers Special Summoning from the Extra Deck and instead of Tributing itself it conducts a Synchro Summon, but that means if you can't Synchro Summon anything then you cannot use this effect, and of course it revives itself during the End Phase. Any Deck that could use Stardust and especially any Deck that revolves around Stardust Dragon can afford can absolutely and smoothly integrate this card at any number in the Extra Deck, you might even get away with replacing Stardust Dragon with the card entirely. Eshai
This is interesting. It takes what Ultimaya was trying to do and flipping it over its head by turning the trigger into something of negation rather than simply "setting a card." However, this card has problems of its own. - The level. How are you Summoning this? You can't even use Stardust Dragon as a material. I would instead drop the level total restriction. Ultimaya doesn't have it and he's a lot less restrictive in what he can do. - It can start a Synchro Synchro Summon withour itself being a Tuner. I'd give the card the Cardian Tuner treatment, where it changes the levels of all of the involved Synchro Materials into level 2s or 3s. - This is just a nitpick, but you could probably improve the last effect. Maybe have it so it's just if ita used as a Synchro Material if you want to invoke Quasar. It would improve its' utility in Synchro heavy decks and be a overall better card. This card is a redesign of Stardust Dragon. It has a Level because there's no reason for it not to (and in its Summoning condition it clearly states the Level(s) of the monsters you use must be exactly Level 8), I wasn't making a boss out of it, and you can use 1 Synchro Material to bring it out, which means you can use Stardust Dragon for the entire Synchro Summon. BTW, that was inspired from Stardust Warrior's effect to Special Summon Warrior Synchros and treat that as a Synchro Summon. Its last effect was deliberate, there are no other cards in the game that let you Synchro Summon outside of either the Main Phase or Battle Phase, and giving it a Cardian effect to change Levels would make this card too busted considering you are negating a Special Summon or a card effect and instead of Tributing this card you get to Synchro Summon with it instead would make this card to unfair in my opinion.
