BlueBlue1234
Design Notes Below: Spirit monsters return to the hand during the End Phase of the turn they were Special Summoned, so it is difficult to maintain field presence. This can be worked around with cards like "Spiritual Energy Settle Machine", "Mirror of Yata" and "Izanagi", which allow Spirit monsters to remain on the field in spite of their effects. Also, which in turn will stay on the field, since it will have been Special Summoned. Alternately, some cards provide positive effects whenever a Spirit monster returns to the player's hand: "Spirit's Invitation" forces an opponent's monster to return to the hand whenever a Spirit returns to the hand. Since Spirit monsters only return to the hand during the End Phase of the turn they are Special Summoned, if they fail to return to the hand, such as due to "Dimensionhole" or "Forbidden Chalice", they will not return to the hand in subsequent turns. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Number One (1) - "Spirit - Shino Odd-Eyes - Problem Hall Monty" - One (1) Quick-Play Spell Card - Written Spell Effect Below: During either player's turn: If this card was set this turn (Quick Effect): You can activate this card. During this card's activation, Special Summon this card as an Spirit Effect Monster (Dragon-Type/LIGHT/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0). (This card is NOT treated as a Quick-Play Spell Card.) If Summoned this way, Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Special Summoned this turn: Return it to the hand. After this card's activation, Select 1 "Shino" Monster Card(s) AND 2 "Shino" Spell or/and "Shino" Trap Card(s) in your Graveyard. Then, your opponent must shuffle selected 3 cards in your opponent's hand. Then, your opponent must place selected 3 cards in face down in your Main Monster Zone(s). Then, select 1 selected face-down card. Then, your opponent must select other selected 1 Spell OR Trap Face-Down Card, then reveal it. Then, select 1 selected face-down card. Then, your opponent must select other selected face-down card, then reveal it. Eshai
Cool card, but you have a LOT of unnessecary text. I think I understand what you're trying to do, and it's similar to Noble Knight Borz or Power Tool Dragon's search effect, but as a revival effect of sorts. You got the pseudo-spell monster effect though, using the card text of Paleozoics, but it doesn't have to say the kind of Spell it is. I changed the formatting, reworded it to decrease the amount of unnecessary text, and made some small changes. Shino Odd-Eyes - Problem Hall MontyQuick-play - SpellSpecial Summon this card as an Effect Monster (Dragon-Type/LIGHT/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0). (This card is NOT treated as a Spell Card.) You can Tribute this monster or banish this card in your GY, except the turn it was sent there (Quick Effect): Reveal 1 "Shino" monster and 2 “Shino” Spell/Trap cards in your GY, have your opponent randomly select 1 of them. If the selected card was a monster, Special Summon it. If the selected card was a Spell/Trap card, immediately after this effect resolves, activate it. At the end of the turn this card was Special Summoned: Return this monster to the hand. The card itself is pretty nice for Shinobirds, but I have a couple nitpicks: - I'd rather the effect say "reveal 3 "Shino" cards in your GY" so that it's a bit easier to use.- If this is supposed to be of the Shinobird/baron archetype, I think a WIND Winged-beast typing would fit better.- I think it should be a Level 4 for Ritual Summoning purposes, and 2000-2500 DEF (or even 1500 ATK/1500 DEF to replicate the Shinobaron Rituals) so the fact that it's a Quick-Play Spell is more relevant, since unless it can also be used for defensive purposes the returning to hand gimmick really doesn't make sense to have. Really interesting idea, but you REALLY need to work on your OCG, as in Offical Card Grammar. There are a couple resources on this website that could probably help you a lot. Do you know how to play "Monty Hall Problem" game?
Eshai
I know Monty Hall Problem is. Konami has adapted Jeopardy and Power Rangers into the game, so at that point anything is possible, but you have to do it in a way that makes sense for the game. Making an entire paragraph just so you can do it the way you want is kinda pointless when revealing cards works essentially the same way, and can be made in a sentence. Consistent OCG among cards is important for card readability, especially for younger players that don't quite know the game. There's also length you have to consider since if you were to put that text into an effect box it might not even be readable with the font size becoming so small. If you're talking about what particular cards are revealed, I'll be asking why you would put cards like these into Shinobirds, is an Odd-Eyes, and why it becomes a LIGHT Dragon, which is far cry from your typical goat or car.
