Monarch King
LIGHT, Spellcaster/EffectLevel 1, ATK 0, DEF 0 When this card is Normal Summoned: You can send 1 "Pot" Spell Card from your Deck to the GY; apply that card's effect. You can only use this effect of "Copypot" once per turn. You cannot activate "Pot" Spell Cards during the turn you activate this effect.
Darj
I'm assuming it copies the costs and conditions as well; otherwise you wouldn't be able to play, let's say, Pot of Dichotomy with it.Anyway, since Pot of Desires is currently the most popular Pot, this basically acts as an extra copy of it in the deck that eats your Normal Summon, making it a bit closer to Cardcar D. As a monster it is searchable by stuff like Sangan, and the Level1 makes it a target for Arf Thou but it may be tricky to play without being burned since this card wants your NS and Thou requires a Level1 already on the board. By the way, if it was a Tuner then it would be searchable by Sage of Eyes of Blue xDUsing it to copy Pot of Duality is tempting too, but when you add the Special Summon lock from Duality to this card's Normal Summon, it doesn't sound that desirable because of how much it limits your plays for the turn. All in all, it looks like an okay card to me. Pot of Desires is pretty much the best card to copy, and giving up your Normal Summon in exchange of getting the draws earlier sounds fair to me. I would say that leaving a 0/0 stat monster on the board is a drawback too, but nowadays you can just use it for a Link Monster, at the very least Linkuriboh for the protection. It doesn't copy the cost. It works like the new Darklords (pay 1000 lp to apply the eff of their spell/traps). For example, if you send Desires to the GY, you won't banish 10 cards face-down. You will draw 2 cards directly.
Darj
It doesn't copy the cost. It works like the new Darklords (pay 1000 lp to apply the eff of their spell/traps). For example, if you send Desires to the GY, you won't banish 10 cards face-down. You will draw 2 cards directly. Then that means you can't copy Avarice, Dichotomy and the other Pots that target? Keep in mind that with the wording they have, Darklord monster have no problem copying Darklord Spell/Traps because none of them target. You could write the card in such way that it includes the targeting conditions of Avarice, etc. but then it would also indirectly include the milling from Desires. And what about the case of Duality? Does it replicates the Special Summon lock or it doesn't? In any case, it shouldn't skip costs IMO. I can get behind a Desires searcher that eats your Normal Summon, but skipping the milling sounds kind of cheap.
