You can only use this effect of "Deception" once per turn. If a DARK monster you control battles an opponent's monster (Quick Effect): You can send this card from your hand to the GY; the opponent's monster loses ATK equal to your monster's ATK, and your monster gains half the lost ATK until the End Phase. Darj Posted September 27, 2017 Report Share Posted September 27, 2017 IDK, it's pretty much a better Honest for DARKs, and I'm not sure if DARKs deserve that in the first place with the decent support they already have, namely Allure, Armageddon Knight, etc. That search effect is quite potent, too; grabbing any Level4 is deceptively good, and it kind of outclasses "Creeping Darkness", and that's where it gets less cool because it takes away its niche. Not to mention that as a Honest counterpart it loses creativity points, so to speak, even with the variances on the effects, and it's pretty much a card that has been done repeatedly by other card makers; really, IIRC I have seen around 3 different DARK Honest attempts, some even named as "Dishonest", during my stay in YCM.
