Darj
Jack Knight of the White VeilAttribute: LIGHTType: Psychic/Link/EffectLink: 1Link Markers: bottomATK: 19001 "Jack Knight" monsterIf this card in the Extra Monster Zone does not point to a monster, it cannot be destroyed by card effects. You can Normal Summon "Jack Knight" monsters without Tributing. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 card on the field; move that card to another appropriate Zone of the card's controller. If this card leaves the field: You can target 1 of your banished "Jack Knight" monsters; add it to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Jack Knight of the White Veil" once per turn. IDK if this would take Jack Knights anywhere near to the top tiers, so I post it in Casual instead of Advanced section to test the waters. I tried to make it as good as possible, though. Those familiar with Jack Knights should be able to tell that this assists with putting more Jack Knights on board by 1) making them Normal Summonable without Tributes, 2) re-arranging cards in a column to enable the inherent Special Summons of the main Deck monsters, through both its effect and just for being a Link1 monster, which means you can trade a Jack Knight in the MM Zone for one into your EM Zone. Plus it lets you take advantage of their negation Spell/Trap support, and as if that wasn't enough, there is no hard OPT in the re-arranging effect so having multiples of this on the board may give you plenty of control in combination with said Spell/Trap support. Finally, the float effect is mainly for the "insurance", to get a refund for Link laddering with it, and goes well with the banish costs of the Jack Knights, as well as the "blink" effect of Purple Dusk.Maybe I got a bit greedy with the effects but eh, Jack Knights deserve it, IMO. And the latest revealed Links are pushing the power levels up, what with the lack of hard OPTs and searching effects and whatnot, which encourages me to push the design of this card a bit further as well.
