And let me just make sure this is abundantly clear, since new members often have trouble with this. You need THE IMAGE'S URL, as in NOT the page the image is on. An image's url will always end in .jpg, .png, or another such file extension. .gifv and .mp4 are not image extensions, and won't work with the img code. In the case of Imgur specifically, the url will also say i.imgur.com instead of just imgur.com.


You can get the image's url from the page by either right-clicking the image and selecting "Copy Image Location".
