Arcana Force XVIII - The Moon: Discussion

Recommended Posts

Toss a coin when this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or Special Summoned successfully. This card will gain 1 of the following effects according to the result of the coin:

● Heads: You can Special Summon 1 "Moon Token" during your Standby Phase (Fairy-Type/LIGHT/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0).

● Tails: During your turn's End Phase, select 1 monster you control, and switch control of that monster to your opponent.

This card's effect is very badly worded (or so it seems).

Nice card though.

The artwork is interesting.

it can be used in combo with other cards' date=' like mushroom man which, (note this is off of memory so I might be wrong) but when he is switched controllers the new controller loses like 1000 life points. It can be good in the right kind of deck, but otherwise its horrible.

The controller loses 300 points during his standby phase, and it costs 500 points to switch control.

But Mushroom man + Moon is nothing of a combo. Mushroom man has no restrictions, he can be tributed for anything, and it's effect of switching control is optional, so it's the same like any other monster.

The Moon + Fox Fire, that's a combo.

My bad I know there is some card where when you switch control of it the new controller loses like 1000 lifepoints because my friend used to combo it with creature swap.

***EDIT: It was ameba he used.

Oh, I see, Ameba. It even inflicts 2000 damage.

It has a counterpart, Griggle, which will increase your life points by 3000 in that case.

But oh well, who cares about burn these days?

I still think Moon + Fox Fire is better.
