Organizing that post the way I had it took me twice as long as it would have to just post IMG codes. In reality I did MORE work than I needed to. When I made it more that a few months ago; that rule was not in effect so I posted the Draft as it was.

 

Anyways the point being.

This is a virtual website.

The moderators act like they have real life jobs and are getting paid for them

It just makes me mad.

I have been spending the time to make that post look nice since it is going to feature a lot of cards eventually and I get criticized for it.

Plus seeing as that was the first time I had been on in months.

It shouldn't matter how many cards you have, if you look at my Sonic thread I have about 20 odd cards all posted in IMG tags along with all the extra stuff I posted for each card, therefore if someone like me or anyone else can do it, what on earth is the problem, my Sonic thread doesn't look sloppy in the slightest.

Rules are Rules, you either follow them or do not post.

 

There are various valid reasons why the 'No attachments / Links' rule for cards was introduced.

 

 

1. Like 90% of threads with attachments fell down pages with hardly any comments.

 

2. Most member refuse to look at or rate cards unless they are posted via IMG tags.

 

3. It takes longer for members to view cards if they are attachments.

 

4. Alot of members refuse therefore alot of members complain, which can cause arguements / hassle, so having no attachments stops this.

 

5. YCMaker has implemented a IMG Tag creator on the Card Maker for a reason.

 

6. Having no attachments allows us to see every card quickly, so if a card is inappropriate we can remove it quickly / other members can report it quickly.

 

7. Its actually overall better for the poster and viewers to see cards in IMG form.

 

8. It helps people to know how to use IMG tags which are used all over the internet.

 

 

Now this rule is only for 1 section so far, as Realistic is the most viewed.

 

Dont call us jerks, not just because its a highly annoying word alot of americans use, but its just totally wrong.

Am I the only one that sees free permission in the lock post to PM me and I will reopen the thread so IMG tags can be added? Doesn't anybody else see that?

 

The rules are there for a reason, and they must be followed or else your thread will be locked, and you didn't so it was. Nothing more, nothing less.

 

For any future threads I lock, there is an open invitation to PM me that you are willing to correct the errors, and I would be more than happy to unlock the thread so you can update it and let others see your work. Or, if all else fails, just make a new thread with the errors fixed. That way, you won't have the clutter of people posting the same post over and over about you breaking a rule.
