Tualatin: Discussion

Recommended Posts

If You can get it out before DAD, when He's summoned, just call DARK. Your opponent's whole deck basically just became useless and You can now directly attack them three turns in a row for game.

Only problems with that are:

You're opponent won't destroy two monsters by battle.

DAD will probably hit the field before You even draw Tualatin.

You're opponent can still set monsters, should You manage to get Tualatin out at all.

Your opponent will probably have some way of killing Him within the first two turns of Him being summoned.

In other words: Good, but not good enough.

He destroys opponents monsters with the selected attribute that are on the field as well as your opponent from summoning others (as has been said, setting is still available though). You probably meant that the person using him would just remove dark monsters to destroy your monsters using the effect instead of battle, but i just wanted to point it out just in case.

Its got potential i think. Nimble Momonga and giant germs are possibilities, although your opponent would have to destroy one and not the others until next turn which they would have to destroy both. Very circumstantial. Scapegoat is really the best way, even that could be wiped out with lightning vortex or something just as annoying. and if you're lucky you just might get it out the easy way, your opponent actually DESTROYING TWO MONSTERS IN BATTLE!

I agree with shadow37ninja: Good, but not good enough.

Tualatin! One of my all-time favorites! The artwork is so cool!

But no, it's nothing against DAD. DAD doesn't destroy by battle but by effects.

You will almost never get a chance to summon this monster.

And the effect only activates when it is summoned by it's own effect, that's a big downside. It's nothing in this format, and it wouldn't matter if it was released in the TCG.

Btw, Tualatin is one of my duel spirits :D
