Dark_Pride
This question has been bugging me for a while, but I should ask this question. Which do you think is better, returning monsters to its owners hand or destroying monsters?
Exiro
Most of the time, it's destroying. But sometimes you need things like Ground-Mole or Soldier of Mist Valley, in case you encounter Stardust Dragon or Prime Material Dragon, things like that. Cyber Altair
destroying is mostly better since you can pretty much make sure it wont come back again. but with MR out there it isn't that much good. returning is good when you can make sure it wont come back. uzumakinaruto93
depends on what you destroy/return..cards like DAD should be better of destroyed since it can't come back, but cards like blue-eyes (horrible example) should be returned cause it will take longer for it to come back
Wyhe
for a nomi or high-power monster,it is the best to return & then neutralise its summoning (eg. use grand mole to return red eyes darkness dragon to hand, then remove red eyes B.dragon from play)as for the rest, beat the stuffings out of them!!! Exiro
for a nomi or high-power monster' date='it is the best to return & then neutralise its summoning (eg. use grand mole to return red eyes darkness dragon to hand, then remove red eyes B.dragon from play)as for the rest, beat the stuffings out of them!!![/quote'] In my opinion, that last part isn't needed. Returning him is enough. However, you can always use The Transmigration Prophecy/D.D. Crow.
iAmNateXero
They both have there pros to em, and both have a nice Continuous spell that will remove the cards from play. IDK both are good in their own way, at different times. I like to spin myself though, screw em both, draw it again. ^_^
ben7922
If the monster isn't Cydra, returning is halariously annoying. But destroying usually preserves an advantage and that is what this game is focused on. Of course there are several exceptions and scenarios to argue with. All in all, I agree with spinning beating both since the next card your opponent draws is usually useless(AKA Dead draw). Practically return and skipping the next draw phase is painful for most decks.
JesusofChaos™
destroy with most except from disk and nomis
CrabHelmet
Bounce = Return to handSpin = Return to top of deckDestroy = Send to graveyard This topic is destroy vs bounce, and destroy is always better than bounce. Even something like Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon is better in the hand than the grave, since it can be discarded for a cost or something like that. Likewise, spin is also always better than destroy. This is just common sense. In the current meta, destroy is better than spin, since this is the format where half the deck is drawn each turn; clogging one draw isn't going to do much, and it would be better to stop the opponent from accessing the card in question, especially if it is something like DAD. That's why Raigeki Break is now more popular than PWWB.
Flame Dragon
As it is right nowdestroy>spin>bounce. In a good metaspin>destroy>bounce. No matter how you look at it bounce is always the worse.
