Hinote
I'm hoping to make this deck as fast as possible since at my local tournament i have at least 5-7 DAD users and seeing as how this deck can rival him/win against him i thought it as a good idea to use this deck in tournament. The Dark One
It looks pretty god as is. In fact, it's nearly identical to the build I posted a while back. 2 things though. 1. I noticed you aren't running Lyla. She's a very useful card in Lightsworn. 2 Though Lightsworn are able to cope with an oversized deck far better than most other types out there, they're still best being as close to 40 cards as is possible. In most situations, they should have either won or lost before they deckout.
Hinote
there i put one of her in for replacement of MonsRein, thanks for the help Dark One if you have any suggestions on any other cards i should take out please dont hesitate to tell me i wish to have this deck as fast as possible for my local tournament seeing as how its completely unfair to go up against a DAD return deck lose first turn and basically cost me a win....all because i dont have anything to topple DAD right at that moment usually... Anyone feel like rating it 1-10?
Hinote
so can I get any good rates/comments on the deck now that people have a good concept on what lightsworns do? or is this deck really good as is...?
Celestine
- 1 Gragonith, Lightsworn Dragon + 1 Celestia, Lightsworn Angel The 3rd Celestia in Lightsworn works wonders because often you'll sacrifice Wolff for it, clear the field and then drop Judgment Dragon without worries. I'd also like to Foolish Burial in here somewhere, setting up instant tribute bait for Celesia/Gragonith is nice or putting JD in the grave to simply retrive it with Monster Reincarnation. The Dark One
3 GoO can lead to dead draws. It's best at 2, in my opinion. Trade-In isn't necessary unless you run a specialized build that, while faster than normal Lightsworn, is less stable. You really need 3 Lyla. Hinote
I've made the necessary changes that I felt were in the best interest of the deck, any rates on it 1-10? any other comments, or is it finally perfect, or as close to perfect as I can get? Awol
If going against a DAD, Shadow Imprisoning is a must. since the meta game here is mainly DAD run and dark creator decks. Shadow imprisoning is a staple in my Gladiator beast rush deck, and i dont seem to have toooo much trouble. but if you dont get it onto the field quick, your screwed. Dryad
How does your deck handle besides DAD decks??Have you also thought about:- Angel07- Tualatin for the deck?
ARC056
I made a Lightsworn deck on 5D's Stardust Accelerator... and immediately realized that the game's built-in max limit works against them, heavily. As such, for those who like Lightsworn, but don't wish to make insanely large decks (ie: 80+ cards) I recommend a blocker, such as Dimension Fortress Weapon (Effect: Cards cannot be sent from the Deck to the Graveyard.) so your deck doesn't kill itself through excess Deck to Graveyard loads. Even if you're running a large deck (60-80 cards) I'd recommend it as a fail-safe so your opponent can't speed up the flow rate... but then I'd back it up with Raregold Armor on a stronger monster so he doesn't take it out. Remember, it's not paranoia if they really are out to get you.8)
