Rayzuke
Name: Trap of Greed Card print: Trap Card Icon: Counter Effect: Activate this card after your opponent plays a Permanent Spell or Trap card. Change the effect of the card to: "Your opponent can Draw a additional card during their Draw Phase" A rather situational Trap card that can completely shut down any permanent card and bring you huge benefits. Thats really all I can say about it. You might notice that in the actuall picture is a typo but I am not invested enough in this card to fix it. Im going to be honest with you all here this card isn't all that great.
coolmanguy
wait by permanent spell/trap do you mean continuous spell/trap and this would be nice in certain situations
Rayzuke
@coolmanguy thats one more typo to add to the list and yes it means continuous
Darj
Field and Pendulum Spells are also Spells that stay on the field. Is this card intended to be able to affect those as well? Anyway, looks like an interesting card to me. It's situational and matchup-dependent, but when it works, damn it sure does work: not only it effectively negates the effect of the Spell/Trap, also it gives you card draws and card advantage that accumulates for each turn that passes. It puts the opponent in a tough spot unless it's able to get rid of its own Spell/Traps, like True Dracos.
Rayzuke
@Darj It's purely intended for continuous spell and trap cards. But yeah it was designed to be situational and you sum it up pretty well... thou honestly I am not all that proud of that card. Its not really a big cool idea and more like a hollow "oh hey I don't think this exists yet" if you can catch my drift. But maybe thats my subconsciousness speaking to me of being annoyed by of "call of the Haunted" that got stuck on my field
Darj
Well, I find it really cool. Cards that replace other card's effects are rare, and even rarer are those that affect Continuous Spell/Traps. Most only affect Normal Spell/Traps, like Artifact Durendal.
