(WRITTEN) Cyber Ogre support: The road less traveled...may be for a reason.

Hello everyone, I have not posted very much, but I try to come up with interesting support for under supported cards/decks.

For the above subject, I wanted to take the (admittedly scarce) theme that Cyber Ogre established; a battle focused theme with discard effects.  Let me know what you think and if there is anything you would add/remove.  Thanks.

 

Monster Cards

 

Byroad Devotee

EARTH

Level 2

Machine/Effect

You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by discarding 1 Machine monster or “Byroad” Spell/Trap card.  You can only Special Summon “Byroad Devotee” once per turn.  If this card is Normal or Special Summoned, you can add 1 “Cyber Ogre” monster from your Deck or GY to your hand.  (Quick Effect):  When a card or effect is activated, or an attack is declared while you control “Cyber Ogre,” you can banish this card from your GY; negate that card/effect or battle, and if you do, a “Cyber Ogre” you control gains 1000 ATK until the end of its next battle.  You can only use each effect of “Byroad Devotee” once per turn.

Ravenous Cyber Ogre

EARTH

Level 5

Machine/Effect

This card’s name is treated as “Cyber Ogre” while on the field and when being used as Fusion Material.  If you control no monsters, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing.  (Quick Effect):  Discard this card; a “Cyber Ogre” you control gains 2000 ATK and is unaffected by your opponent’s monster effects, until the end of the turn.  During the End Phase, if an EARTH Machine monster was sent to the GY this turn while this card was on the field or in the GY; add this card from your GY to your hand, and if you do, you can add 1 “Byroad” Spell/Trap card from your Deck to your hand.  You can only activate each effect of “Ravenous Cyber Ogre” once per turn.

Insatiable Cyber Ogre

Machine/Effect

This card’s name is treated as “Cyber Ogre” while on the field and when being used as Fusion Material.  If you control no monsters, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing.  (Quick Effect):  Discard this card; a “Cyber Ogre” you control gains 2000 ATK and is unaffected by your opponent’s Spell/Trap effects, until the end of the turn.  During the End Phase, if an EARTH Machine monster was sent to the GY this turn while this card was on the field or in the GY; add this card from your GY to your hand, and if you do, you can Special Summon 1 “Cyber Ogre” monster from your hand or GY, except “Insatiable Cyber Ogre.”  You can only activate each effect of “Insatiable Cyber Ogre” once per turn.

Byroad Fusion

Normal Spell

Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck using monsters from your hand or field as Fusion Materials.  If Summoning a “Cyber Ogre” Fusion Monster, you can also use monsters from your Deck as Fusion Material, but you can only declare an attack with that card this turn, also its name becomes “Cyber Ogre” while face up on the field.  A Machine monster Fusion Summoned by this card’s effect cannot be targeted by your opponent’s card effects, but destroy it at the end of your opponent’s next turn.  At the start of your Draw Phase, before you draw, if this card is in your GY, you can add this card to your hand instead of conducting your normal draw, then you can return 1 Fusion Monster in your GY to your Extra Deck.  You can only use each effect of “Byroad Fusion” once per turn.

 

Byroad Rites

Normal Spell

Discard 1 card to activate this card.  You cannot Special Summon monsters during the turn this card is activated, except EARTH Machine monsters.  Select and activate one of the following effects:

-Add up to 2 “Cyber Ogre” monsters and/or “Byroad” monsters with different names from your Deck to your hand.

-Special Summon 1 “Cyber Ogre” from your Deck, then you can send 1 EARTH Machine monster from your Deck to the GY.

You can only activate “Byroad Rites” once per turn.

Normal Trap

If you control an EARTH Machine monster, you can destroy 1 card your opponent controls.  If you control “Cyber Ogre,” you can activate this card from your hand.  If a “Cyber Ogre” monster is sent to your GY while this card is in your GY, except the turn this card was sent there, you can Set this card, but banish it when it leaves the field.  You can only activate each effect of “Byroad Depravity” once per turn.

 

Byroad Torment

Normal Trap

If you control an EARTH Machine monster, you can negate the effect of 1 face up card your opponent controls.  If you control “Cyber Ogre,” you can activate this card from your hand.  If a “Cyber Ogre” monster is sent to your GY while this card is in your GY, except the turn this card was sent there, you can Set this card, but banish it when it leaves the field.  You can only activate each effect of “Byroad Torment” once per turn.

Cyber Ogre Logres

EARTH

Level 10

Machine/Fusion/Effect

2 “Cyber Ogre” + 1 Effect monster

Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Summoned by other ways.  Unaffected by your opponent’s monster effects whose original ATK is less than this card’s current ATK.  Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects during the Battle Phase.  During a battle between this attacking card and an opponent’s monster, you can have this card gain ATK equal to the original ATK of the attack target during Damage Calculation only.    If this card is destroyed and sent to the GY, you can destroy cards your opponent controls, up to the number of “Cyber Ogre” monsters with different names you control or in your GY.  You can only use each effect of “Cyber Ogre Logres” once per turn.

Cyber Ogre Anathema

EARTH

Level 8

Machine/Fusion/Effect

1 “Cyber Ogre” + 1 EARTH Machine monster

Must first be Fusion Summoned using the above Fusion Materials.  Cannot be destroyed by your opponent’s monster effects.  Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects during the Battle Phase.  (Quick Effect):  Discard 1 card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; switch the target to face up attack position if it is not already, also reduce its ATK to 0 until the end of its next battle.  If this card is destroyed and sent to the GY, you can add 1 of the Fusion Materials in your GY used to Fusion Summon this card to your hand, and if you do, Special Summon 1 “Cyber Ogre” monster from your hand, Deck, or GY.  You can only use each effect of “Cyber Ogre Anathema” once per turn.
