Tefached Posted May 10, 2008 Report Share Posted May 10, 2008 this is just a suggestion but i think that the showcase subforum should have smaller subforums in it likeBannersSplicesHolosheetsother this way the showcase wont be as crowded to fit more important archives but i can see how this could fail as new members wont post correctly at first but a second improvement on this ideais instead make an archive sectionso that the showcase is just a showcase and in that we can have a certain spot for just archives which will hold much more things etc. etc. discuss Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Enigma Zero Posted May 10, 2008 Report Share Posted May 10, 2008 Another option, one that I use actually, is to limit members to only having one Showcase/Gallery/Collection/whatever thread. I let them make an initial thread and add up to 5 additional posts after their initial post(this is one of the few exceptions to our multiposting rules). That way they can add their images in the 1st post and, when it's full, they can edit the Filler Posts. These kinds of threads cut down significantly on clutter since if, for example, you want to see God Splice's stuff...it's all in one place. Pixel Art (includes all pixel art stuff and splicing and etc.)2. Accessories (holosheets, renders, font types, brushes, etc.)3. Forum Design (sigs, avis, card images, banners, etc.)[/quote'] at first i was nooooooooooo but Yusei's aligment is good. thought i really see no urgent or real need in changing it since other then banners and avi's the only other stuff posted are splice's and sometimes comics.
