Parting Shot
Well, I was thinking about my Push Spells, and I decided that they weren't enough. If I really wanted to create something cool and game-changing, I would need to make a new kind of Trap Card also. So, that's where these came from. I call them Cross Traps (hence the name of the thread ;)). As with my Push Spells, I made a custom symbol for these traps (with a little advice from Yankee). Here are the rules for Cross Trap Cards:1. Cross Traps are set on your field just like every other Trap card.2. When a Cross Trap is flipped face-up it immediately moves to an open S/T Zone on your opponent’s side of the field and activates as though it’s your opponent’s card. As such, you cannot flip a Cross Trap face-up if there aren't any open S/T Zones on your opponent's field.3. Cross Traps are always sent to the Graveyard of their original owner (the person who flipped it face-up). Now, without further ado, the Cross Traps ^_^ **|\/|** **|/\|**
A dazzling example of a Cross Trap brought to you courtesy of Remix Duelist ^_^ Alright, in case you're confused, here's a little bit more explanation of the cards. Say I play "The Color of Money" face-down on my turn. Then, during my next turn I flip it over. It moves to my opponent's S/T Zone and pretends that it belongs to him. Thus, when it activates, he's the "you" and I am the "your opponent" in the card's effect. So, when the card resolves he would draw 1 card and I would get to draw 2 cards. Then, I would have to discard 1 random card from my hand during my next Standby Phase. If it's still confusing just let me know and I'll try to explain it more ^_^ --|-|--
001-acidburnbaka002-riesheridan \/****The images used in the above cards do not belong to me, I simply cropped them. I am using them only to improve the quality of my cards.****\/

Yams
Although i like the idea i am a little confused. Can't you just reverse the effects and apply it for yourself instead of this?
Parting Shot
Make the opponent gain at least 4000 Life Points. Hm' date=' I was thinking just a basic double Upstart Goblin when I made this. I don't think it would be good to raise it above 2500, or 3000 at the most. Although i like the idea i am a little confused. Can't you just reverse the effects and apply it for yourself instead of this? Well, that's kind of what these are, reverse of what normally is on cards. Instead of you drawing cards and your opponent gaining life points from your card, you draw cards and your opponent gains life points from their card. Hope that clears it up a little. J-Max
So let me get this straight when you activate these cards they switch to your Opponents field but you get the effects? Nice! This is good for opponents who play burn decks. You can easily block out 1 or 2 S/T Zones with these. Sneaky... I like it!

I like it!Well, it doesn't really block the S/T Zones since it's only there until the chain finishes and it's effect activates and resolves. But, yeah, it is kinda sneaky :P. Thanks for the comments ^_^ 8/10 the first picture is not really good but the 2nd one is awesome!Yeah' date=' the first one could be better. Enigma Zero
I must not see what other people are seeing because I like "The Color of Money". I do, however, think that monster destruction part of "Cosmic Catastrophe" is a tad much. Maybe either cut it out or cut it down to either the lowest attack or highest defence monster(like Fissure or Smashing Ground). Overall, the concept is really nice and the only thing you would need to make DMG's idea work is a few continous traps here and there. Something annoyingly weak...that locks up one of their S/T zones. ;) This definately has the potential...now to expandon it and see where the concept goes. ;)

Kale
nice! this would help with the darkworld cards, right? plus, if you were to activate some sort of continuous spell that made each player lose life points for each trap you activate, this would be so awesome! Thats how it works right, when you flip the card, your opponent is considered the person who activated it?
