In any case this is the right place to release whatever you're carrying with you.

 

EDIT: This post needed to be modified a bit, since it seems to have induced a certain amount of misunderstandings and discussions. Also, I thought that structuring the points would help getting a better overview anyway.

 

*Now first of all, this is the Rant Thread and not the therapy session. If you wish to get something fixed or for some advice you should ask for it or pm me.

*Don't spam! After all, this is not a total vent central.

*Please avoid swear words as far as it's possible. This area should not be used to hurt and flame people, but it is mainly about getting rid of your anger and such.

*No one expects you to go into the tiniest details about your life. If you prefer not to become too precise about things, it's totally fine.

 

The idea of this thread actually came into my mind after coming across several posts and threads in which people appeared to be pissed off and started complaining about their problems. Thus I figured out that it could be of some use to have a space for that. Don't worry about me, though, I can cope with anything in that domain^.^

I dislike it how the moderation team is forced to support those who do not know how this site works.

 

If a moderator (one of us), has to "Bud-in" to a problem between a n00b and a well known or elite member, the n00b walks out without a scratch. The elite/well known member is the one who gets in trouble.

 

So, this is my perspective on how the mods are forced to go against what they believe is right for what YCMaker says.

Thank you. Just one advice, please don't make it turn into a thread which consists of talking badly about people behind their back. It should serve the purpose of helping people when they're angry or whatever in first place. I don't mean that you actually did this, but this was just something which came into my mind earlier^.^

Well, I don't like people who follow trends just because the ones that started them are "kewl". That said, my opinion about a number of members has gone down a few notches because they became emulations of other members who have a very peculiar sense of humour. But hey, the internet isn't life, so moving on.

 

Recently I've noticed how the behaviour of a lot of boys follows a pattern when around girls. This wouldn't be news if I wasn't talking about people my age, 19/20 years old, 2nd year of Medschool. One would think they could have overcome that habit of saying bad jokes really loud to make sure the girls in the group get every sillable of it. One minute I'm having a normal conversation with a classmate, and the next minute a girl shows up and it's simply impossible to keep it going.

 

Seriously, we all have girlfriends by now, why the caveman performance?... -.-

I have a classmate, who I despise much, but I don't show it out, he is just so freaking annoying, plus, he takes so much food during our lunch time at school, yeah, we have to share the food here, each table has a bowl filled with food. >_>

 

Weird thing is that, he doesn't gain any weight 0.o?

 

Oh and, I hate pt018 (like, who doesn't?) Why does he keep making such pointless topic like he's recent topic in the general about that somebody was wrong on Wikipedia about Winx Club (Seriously, wtf?)? Why does he even give a damn about it? He should be enjoying his life at this time, not waste it on stuff like the topics he makes. We have tried to help him, but he doesn't even notice it, he just keeps on failing. Seriously, if he goes on like that, he'll never move out from his parents basement.

Really, the last part may have been a little, well you know, but I wasn't flaming him, I was just stating my opinion and, well, actually, just telling the obvious, plus, this is the RANT thread for gods sake...Plus, if I'm neg repped for this, then other users on this site should be to who have done that...And I don't see you neg repping people for that...

@ God Hunter: The gap between some of the more experienced members and some newbies who don't follow the rules seems to be a major topic indeed. But isn't it so that most of the n00bs got banned or at least warned for what they did? I agree with Exiro in that point, but again, we shouldn't forget that the thing God Hunter was hinting at was somewhat different. Actually the new member didn't say anything in this case and he therefore wasn't shouted at.

@ Elsandero: I'm glad that you've solved the thing with the neg rep and as I told you on MSN, I didn't consider your statements as flaming. Also, pt018 threads may be somewhat annoying to some people, but he's got the right to show interest into whatever pleases him. Therefore I don't think we should automatically assume that he'll never move out from his parent's basement. However, I agree with the fact that he doesn't listen to people who try to help him and just keeps acting the same way.

does any1 else tink gameking(where you can play yu-gi-oh on the computer)is stupid?? all any1 does is disconnects when ur winning and then report they won its so irritating i have never got to finish 1 full duel its so annoying!!!!!!!
