In this world exists cosmic abominations that haunt the few who’ve seen them. The government have had their eyes on these creatures for some time, however, if nothing is done about these beasts soon, all hell may break loose.

Cosmic Horror T.R.I (Updated) - HOPT added

DARK/Wyrm/Level 3/Effect

Once per turn, While you control no cards, you can special summon this card from your hand. If this card was special summoned, you can add 1 “Cosmic Horror” or “Of Horror” card from your deck to your hand, but you cannot special summon monsters from the extra deck for the rest of the turn, except link monsters. You can only activate this effect or “Cosmic Horror T.R.I” once per turn.

If this card would leave the field by a card effect, you can send the top card of the deck to the GY, this card is not destroyed. You can only activate each effect of “Cosmic Horror F.U.R” once per turn

Cosmic Horror BE.4.ST (Updated) - complete revamp (Loleo’s idea as inspiration)

DARK/Wyrm/Link-4/Effect

2+ Wyrm monsters including a link monster.
This card gains 400 ATK for each co-linked monster you control. When this card is link summoned, you can draw cards equal to the number of co-linked monsters you control, then shuffle the same number of cards back into your deck. If this card is co-linked, this card gains the following effects based on the number of co-linked monsters you control:
1+: this card cannot be destroyed by battle
2+ this card cannot be destroyed by card effects 
3+ once per turn, you can target 1 monster your opponent controls, destroy it.
4+ once per turn, when an opponent activates a card effect, negate that effect and destroy that card.

Field Spell

Wyrm monsters gain 300 ATK/DEF. Once per turn, you can target 1 Wyrm link monster you control, special summon 2 link monsters from your GY to zones that card points to, but they’re ATK/DEF is 0 and their effects are negated. During your end phase, you can target 1 face-up card your opponent controls for each co-linked monster you control, negate their effects until your next standby phase.

Illusion Of Horror

Normal Trap

Co-linked Wyrm monsters cannot be targeted by card effects. Your opponent’s monsters lose 100 ATK for each co-linked monster you control. During the end phase, If this card was destroyed this turn, you can target 1 Link 2 or lower Wyrm link monster in your GY, special summon it to a zone a link monster you control points to.

Why do you guys always like to make archetypes, it's too hard and time consuming to review T_T  ***cries in a corner***

- Everything looks pretty nice up to  the T.R.E.E. Tentacle boi, though, is screaming for HOPT. Also, you fortgot again to specify where the mon is Summoned from.

- H.I.V.E's effect is not very understandable. This card gains gains 1000 x it’s link rating for each co-linked monster you control. Wut? xD. It likes to gain gain, alright, but what it gains, its Link Rating x 1000, OR 1000 x the number of co-linked monsters you control, OR a combination of both, or ???

- F.U.R is fine in general. These effects with cheap costs, like Send 1 card from the top of your Deck to the GY has always made me a bit uncomfortable, but there are monsters that survive destruction without cost at all, so the milling is even a plus.

- The rest of the Links are all ok. Careful with the words used. It says, While you control 3 co-linked monsters, you can destroy all face-up cards your opponent controls. This actually sounds like a continuous effect. Unless that's your intention (OP'ed as hell), you should make it an Ignition effect. If you control 3 or more co-linked monsters: You can etc. etc.

- Portal of Horror possibly Special Summoning 2 Link monsters per turn is a no lol, make it 1. The other Spells and the Trap are good

Nice set in general, just some things here and there. H.P. Lovecraft Seal of Quality

I think I would just make its Special Summon the HOPT here.

 

W.O.R.M powerful but realistic love it.

 

T.R.E.E loving it

 

Wish 10.T.C.L.E was level 10.

 

Wish D3.A.T.H returned banished Wyrm links to the GY or ED as a summoning condition (or match 10.T.C.L.E's condition) and could Quick Effect return to hand to reborn "Cosmic Horror"/add GY "Of Horror" card back to hand.

 

H.I.V.E I would nerf the 1000 to 500 since this can EASILY get to 9k ATK consistently otherwise

 

F.U.R makes me a little uncomfortable for some weird reason, the protection is just a little unorthodox. Its probably fine just concerning. (Another drastic unorthadox option but kinda fun, other Co-Linked monsters you control are unaffected by cards except themselves and cards they are linked to)

 

HOR.SE Feels a little underpowered? maybe it can Special from hand or GY and negates and drops ATK only if Special from GY? (looked at the arrows and the deck could go so much further if you switch the left arrow to right

 

M.0.UTH Lets boost this

instead of doubling the amount I would make it a quick effect if its Co-Linked, or alternatively not allowing your opponent to activate cards with the same names as cards banished by that effect until the end of their next turn.

 

BE.4.ST (my version)

If this card is Link summon: You can draw cards equal to the number of Co-Linked Wyrm monsters you control, but you cannot activate effects for the rest of the turn. This card gains these effects based on the number of monsters co-linked to this card.

2+ Co-Linked Wyrm monsters you control cannot be tributed or returned to the ED.

3+ Co-Linked Wyrm monsters you control inflict piercing battle damage.

4+ Up to Thrice per turn return a banished link to ED to omni negate

 

(EDIT BEAST from 2+ 4+ 6+ to 2+ 3+ 4+)

 

(Your "While" effects should be replaced with "If...   : You can")

Get used to it. Cause now in days, most people like to make a whole set of cards that can make a lot of combos with each other or with other cards. Or at least that's what it is in my case.

Because it’s fun to make whole archetypes instead of just 1 tiny card.

anyway, T.R.E.E. does mention that it’s it can be special when it’s in either the hand or GY, also I do agree with the HOPT

I had a hard time figuring out how I wanted to word H.I.V.E., so I just tried this best I could. It’s supposed to be (1000 x link rating) x co-linked monsters which I realize is kind of broken and needs nerfed.

The idea of F.U.R. was to have a monster that will stay on the field so you can keep your co-links. It’s basic but it works.

I do agree with T.R.I having a HOPT

For 10 T.CLE, I thought about making him level 10 but I didn’t figure his stats deserved level 10, however, may change it anyway.

For d.3.ATH, good idea, I was trying something similar to the Lair of Darkness boss monster but I like this idea.

H.I.V.E is one I realized was way to overpowered afterwards so thanks for bringing this to my attention 

The idea behind F.U.R was to have a monster that stayed on the field for Co-links. It also just so happens to be my favorite monster in this archetype because of how unsettling he is.

HOR.SE was the very last card I made and I was having trouble coming up with the effect for him so the feedback on this one is very welcome.

I Refuse to change Take Over Of Horror, especially since cards like Vampire Take Over exist.

I might make more of these cards but We’ll see what happens 

I think the ATK on all the monsters are fine except for maybe some of the link monsters.

I misread this card lmao, I thought it said it could activate itself from deck if its conditions were met.
