The2kGod Raah Posted February 22 Report Share Posted February 22 Wanted to make a custom archetype about warrior monsters that are worshipers of different hidden arts. The Deck comprises of 4 main monsters, 1 Spell, 1 Trap, and 1 Boss monster who is from the Main Deck. Of the 4 main monsters, each has a different type, however all the monsters are Level 8 Warrior monsters. Each monster shares a common effect that During the Draw Phase (Quick Effect), they can meet some condition to Special Summon themselves out. Each monster also has an effect when sent to the GY. This is also shared with the Spell, and Trap as when they are sent to the GY by card effect they do some effect. The end boss is a Level 12 Plant monster that has the summoning condition of sending 3 "Hidden Blade" monsters you control to the GY. The goal of the archetype is to Attack the opponent's hand, and make the opponent send cards from their hand to the GY or banish them. Most of the Deck has art for it except for the trap card. I would like to balance the archetype without changing the goal of hand destruction so if it is too weak or too strong I would like some suggestions. I would also like some feedback on word construction and such so that they can look like authentic cards. Constructive criticism would be very much appreciated! Here are the cards: Virgil of the Hidden Blade Arts Level 8 DARK Warrior 2500/2000 During the Draw Phase (Quick Effect): You can discard 1 card; Special Summon this card from your hand, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck until the end of the turn. You can only use each of the following effects of "Virgil of the Hidden Blade Arts" once per turn. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can send 1 "Hidden Blade" card from your hand to the GY; Special Summon 1 Level 8 "Hidden Blade" monster from your hand. If this card is sent to the GY: You can discard 1 card; Special Summon this card. Serene of the Hidden Blade Arts Level 8 LIGHT Warrior 2000/2500 During the Draw Phase (Quick Effect): You can return 1 card you control to the hand; Special Summon this card from your hand, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck until the end of the turn. You can only use each of the following effects of "Serene of the Hidden Blade Arts" once per turn. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can send 1 "Hidden Blade" card from your field to the GY; add 1 Level 8 "Hidden Blade" monster from your Deck to your hand. If this card is sent to the GY: You can return 1 card you control to the hand; add 1 "Hidden Blade" card from your Deck to your hand. Ursala of the Hidden Blade Arts Level 8 WATER Warrior 1500/3000 During the Draw Phase (Quick Effect): You can shuffle 1 monster from your GY into the Deck; Special Summon this card from your hand, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck until the end of the turn. You can only use each of the following effects of "Serene of the Hidden Blade Arts" once per turn. Once per turn: You can banish 1 "Hidden Blade" card from your GY; add 1 "Hidden Blade" card from your GY to your hand. If this card is sent to the GY: You can shuffle 1 card from your GY into the Deck; add this card to your hand. Agni of the Hidden Blade Arts Level 8 FIRE Warrior 3000/1500 During the Draw Phase (Quick Effect): You can Shuffle 1 "Hidden Blade" card that is banished or in your GY into the Deck; Special Summon this card from your hand, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck until the end of the turn. You can only use each of the following effects of "Agni of the Hidden Blade Arts" once per turn. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 card in your opponent's GY; banish it. If this card is sent to the GY: You can shuffle this card into the Deck; inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. Wisdom Tree of the Hidden Blade Forest Level 12 EARTH Plant 3000/3000 You can Special Summon this card from your hand or GY by sending 3 "Hidden Blade" monsters you control to the GY, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck until the end of the turn. You can only Special Summon "Wisdom Tree of the Hidden Blade Forest" once per turn this way. Once per turn: You can banish 1 "Hidden Blade" monster from your hand, field, or GY; draw 1 card. During your opponent's turn, if a "Hidden Blade" card is sent to the GY by card effect (Quick Effect): You can activate this effect; discard 1 card, and if you do, your opponent must discard 1 card or if they cannot discard a card they must send all cards they control to the GY. Hidden Blade Hidden Slash Quick-Play Spell Card You can pay 500 LP; send 1 Level 8 "Hidden Blade" monster from your Deck to the GY. If this card is sent to the GY by card effect: You can banish this card and 1 "Hidden Blade" monster from your GY; banish 1 monster your opponent controls. You can only use each effect of "Hidden Blade Hidden Slash" once per turn. Hidden Blade Surprise Attack Counter Trap Card If your opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster: You can Special Summon 1"Hidden Blade" monster from your hand, and if you do, each player sends 1 card from their hand to the GY. If this card is sent to the GY by card effect: You can banish this card and 1 "Hidden Blade" monster from your GY; banish 1 card at random from your opponent's hand.
