Shadowmasters :: Quickplay Spell Abuse

Shadowskill - Blitz

Quickplay Spell

Discard any number of "Shadowmaster" monster(s) from your hand to the graveyard, then place "Blitz Counters" on this card equal to the number of cards discarded. While there are "Blitz Counters" on this card, this card remains face-up on your side of the field. While this card remains face-up on the field, Spell cards on your side of the field and in your hand are treated as Quickplay Spell cards. Each time a Quickplay Spell card is activated, remove 1 "Blitz Counter" from this card.

(Yummy. Your opponent flipped Sangan on you after your attack? Quick Confiscation will deal with it. A speedy Lightning Vortex shuts down enemy swarm. Your opponent's attacking? Smashing Ground fixes that problem up. Etc. etc. This card can hurt. The fact that you must discard specific monsters makes it balanced. ish.)

Shadowskill - Transform

Quickplay Spell

Discard 1 Quickplay Spell card and 1 "Shadowmaster" monster from your hand. Add 1 card from your graveyard to your hand.

(Again, the fact that you can't splash this card means that it obviously isn't going to be broken. And I don't think this is. It's good, though, and nice support.)

Shadowskill - Mimic

Quickplay Spell

Activate only when you activate a Quickplay Spell card. Show your opponent 1 "Shadowmaster" monster in your hand, then discard 1 Quickplay Spell card from your hand. When the selected Quickplay Spell card has resolved, add all copies of the selected card that are in your graveyard to the top of your deck in any order, then draw 1 card. You cannot activate any Quickplay Spell cards during the turn you activated this card after this card has resolved.

(Serial Spell for Quickplay Spells! And if you manage to chain this to... well, Shrink, for example, you just get to redraw Shrink and any others you have. Not to be used lightly, as this could possibly rob you of a draw.)

Shadowskill - Replace

Quickplay Spell

Tribute 1 Level 4 or higher "Shadowmaster" monster on your side of the field, then draw 1 card from your deck. If you activate this card at Chain Link 1 in a chain, you may draw 1 more card from your deck.

(The Chain Link 1 thing prevents chaining to monster removal for a quick break-even. Now, even drawing one in the face of Sakuretsu Armor is lovely to have.)

Shadowskill - Swarm

Quickplay Spell

Reveal 3 "Shadowmaster" monster cards from your hand. Your opponent selects and discards 1 revealed monster to the graveyard, then negate the activation of a Spell or Trap card and destroy it. Your opponent then selects and resolves one of the following effects:

* This card's controller selects 1 Quickplay Spell card from their graveyard and places it on top of the owner's deck;

* Your opponent selects 1 Quickplay Spell card from your graveyard and adds it to your hand.

(The Shadowmaster show is only PART of the effect, but it is also the trigger. So, unfortunately, the second part requires fulfilment of the first. So it's either YOUR choice of spell to the top of your deck, or your opponent's choice of spell directly to your hand: but your opponent chooses which effect. This can be useful.)

Sorry about the lack of monsters... it's shockingly late, I only got up to here, but I'll be back...
