Besides, the picture is part of the card. You make it seem as if the picture and the card are two separate entities, like saying an apple and the juice that's a part of it aren't part of the same thing. Anyway, you don't see regular Yu-Gi-Oh cards with poorly drawn pictures on them, do you? If pictures didn't matter, they wouldn't be there at all. It's about taking the effort to find a decent picture to make your card look presentable. I agree that it takes more creativity to come up with a neat effect.
