In other words, make the render completely indistinguishable from the background, so I'm not able to see that awesome render I spent a week trying to find?

 

If I may, how does this "blending" work?

OK. What 2 main colors does your bleach sig have. Orange and black. Make a BG then go to layers>New layer adjustment>Gradient map. A window will appear. click on the colored bar. another color window will appear. Choose orange then click ok. click on the next small tab and choose black. Then finally put your render in. If you don't want orange and black choose orange and white and smudge the BG on your render a little but so it blends in.

I often do Gradient Maps, I didn't know that they blended the render better.
