Light and Darkness - Take Two

Recommended Posts

Some time ago I tried to create an archetype for Light End Dragon, Dark End Dragon and Light and Darkness Dragon. Now that I have played the game a bit more and with a more more knowledge/understanding I'm giving it another go.
These are some of the ideas I've had to build up on the Light and Darkness Dragon Series

Darkbringer Drake
DARK
Dragon/Effect
**** (4)
1800/1300
This card is always considered a 'Dark End' card.
If you control a ‘Lightbringer Drake’, you can special summon this card from your hand.
For the Synchro summon of a ‘Dark End’ or ‘Light End’ Monster, you can treat this card as a tuner.
If this card is used as tribute or material for the summon of a DARK or LIGHT monster, that monster gains the following effects:
• Increase it’s ATK and DEF by 500 points
• If it attacks a monster in defence position, deal piercing damage.

Lightbringer Drake
LIGHT
Dragon/Effect
**** (4)
1800/1300

If you control a ‘Darkbringer Drake’, you can special summon this card from your hand.

• Increase its ATK and DEF by 500 points:
• Your opponent cannot respond to the activation of this card’s effects.

Paladin of Light and Darkness
LIGHT
Dragon/Ritual/Effect
****(4)
1900/1200
While on the field this card is also DARK-Attribute.
You can Ritual Summon this card with ‘Ritual of Light and Darkness’. When a LIGHT or DARK Dragon you control activates an effect and loses ATK/DEF: Deal Effect Damage to your Opponent equal to the reduced ATK/DEF.
You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 ‘Light End’ or ‘Dark End’ monster from your Hand or Extra Deck.

Ritual of Light and Darkness
Ritual Spell
This card is used to Ritual Summon ‘Paladin of Light and Darkness’. You must also tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal 4 or more. While this card is in the GY, you can Normal Summon Level 5 or higher LIGHT and DARK Dragons without Tributing.

Majesty of Light and Darkness
Quick-Play Spell
The ATK/DEF of 1 Monster you control becomes its Original ATK/DEF. That monster cannot attack this turn, and if it leaves the field you take half its ATK as effect damage.

Supremacy of Light and Darkness
Normal Spell
Activate this card only if you control a ‘Light End’ monster and a ‘Dark End’ monster. Their ATK becomes double their original ATK, they are unaffected by other cards and effect and cannot activate their effects the turn you activate this card.
When they attack a monster in defence position, they deal piercing damage.
During the End Phase both monsters are destroyed.

Reborn in Light and Darkness
Counter Trap
Activate when your opponent declares an attack, or activates an effect, that targets a LIGHT and/or DARK monster you control. Immediately after this card resolves you may choose from the following:
• Perform a Tribute Summon
• Perform a Fusion Summon, using monsters you control as material
• Perform a Synchro Summon, using monsters you control as material
The tributes and materials used for a summon through this card’s effect are banished instead of sent to the GY.
The monster summon by this card’s effect cannot attack this turn.

Other ideas I'm still working on;
Light and Darkness Wyvern (A level 6 weaker version of LaDD)
Light End & Dark End Dragonlord (Level 10 Synchro counterparts of the OG Synchros)

Let me know what you think
