Chu The Burning Meteorite
If you could balance "Pot of Greed" to be a playable card in the meta, how would you change it while keeping the original idea?
Dramatic Crossroad
The card is just strong as it is,.. I don't know what cost/downside hasn't been tested already, on top of giving it a hard once per turn clause and shackling it with the Limited/Forbidden List or Genesys Points cost. The "retrain" Pots have dealt with balancing in different ways. "Duality" restricts you from Special Summoning. "Desires" removes 1/4 of your Deck from the Duel. "Prosperity" & "Extravagance" remove 1/2 your Extra Deck from the Duel and prevents you from doing subsequent effect draws. I would have explored the activating condition and forget the cost/restrictions which is overdone, maybe making it a "comeback" card:Activate only when at least 2 of these conditions are met: Your opponent has 2 or more cards in their hand than you. Your opponent controls 3 or more cards than you. Your LP are lower than your opponent's LP and the difference is 3000 or more. Draw 2 cards. You can only activate "Pot of Greed" once per turn. Still, I don't know it would be viable or fair to change the card with an errata, considering it's so iconic and older cards have already been ruined trying to balance them (like Brain Control. Chaos Emperor Dragon, Sinister Serpent etc. becoming nigh unplayable). Edited January 11 by Dramatic Crossroad
