Gogeta™
This thread is for anything that doent have to do with the other forums right? Well how can my Member of the month contest be locked for not being not inportant if its just in the General seection? Im not mad that my post got locked but I wondering why could it be locked? I really dont think what I posted would be "Spammy" as it was refered to.
JesusofChaos™
We have awards already, this thread is also spam and should be locked
MarbleZone
If I went to make a thread about the benefits of cheese, did it deserve to stay open simply because it was in the most adequate section? The thing is, some threads don't need to be made because their discussion is irrelevant, not interesting or because it has been done before. In this particular case, we had the Monthly Awards up until recently, but people stopped caring. Which means, any kind of discussion about "best members" is better off avoided for now. ;)
Gogeta™
Fine what ever. The whole thing is pointless ok.
J-Max
With threads such as "Most Popular Member" There is a problem known as Ego Stroking. Where the person who has the most votes gets cocky on the forums. Also it can start Flame Wars. If a person likes another person then give them a Rep or 2 to say thanks.
