The mod team has decided to eliminate name changes once and for all. You have one more week to request one more name change, and that will be your screenname forever.

 

We apologize for having to do this, but the amount of work we had to put in for it was simply outrageous. This is not up for debate, and if this discussion gets full of angry posters it will be locked.

Yeah, the bolded part. It really shows how dumb YCMers are, because I still see posts in the thread asking for name changes.

 

My second point is about the name changes. Oh noes the SUPAH MODS cannot handle some name changes!

 

YCMaker (aka the Spambot)'s plan: Make some people Mods, then promote them to Super Mods, then get more Mods, then promote those to Super Mods, but still keep the Super Mods who have left as Super Mods. And then I'll just keep doing that. Every 8 months or so I'll make a small update to the Card Maker to make it look like I'm doing something.

 

There are 11 Super Moderators. 4 of them have left YCM, because they know it's sheet. Yet they are still Super Moderators. TotalObelisk and darkguy00000 are still Moderators, despite the fact that they have left, too.

 

Then we have our aweome SUPAH MOD, Star. He's been running for Super for years! Such a "shame" that he only gets to be a Super when YCMaker decided he'd make every active Moderator a Super Moderator.

 

The awesome Super Moderators include a pervert, who threatens to make you "Face his perverted wrath!" if you don't use the Guidelines set in the GD Tutorial section.

 

Then, in my leaving post, I told everyone that I was letting Lucas on my account (Lucas was perma'd at the time), yet I still didn't get banned! How awesome, perhaps I should let Draco on this account too.

 

Clearly, YCM is the cancer. YCM is killing the /b/.

I want to say calm down but part of me agrees in a way. Mods being Promoted to Super to deal with a Crisis. I will say so more or I risk the threat of the Banhammer.

YCMaker did not make everyone a Super;

 

Pizza Did, and with good reasons.

 

Why everyone assumes YCMaker did it when he never does much is beyond me.

 

 

I didnt say you were going to get one, i said you may get one if you continue to be Negative, and this thread is certainly that.

 

 

And if you must know, we are actually debating what to do with name changes, and have some really well thought out ideas about it, the elimination may change, but we want people to have, for now, a name that feel they really want to have.
