Banings, much to remember

I think that the mods, should bring back the ban thread.

 

you said you would, use the ban whenever a member was banned.

 

please, do what you said you would do.

 

as do the many numbers of bannins, that have happened recently

many members are getting confused at why they were even banned.

 

the thread will help settle, the confusion and the contraversy, that arises when a ban is set...

Frunk used to use it before he left. God Kaze or Tkill could have used it when Frunk left, but they didn't for some reason. Maybe they didn't want the attention? I don't know.

I just think that it would save the mods the trouble

of having to explain it, over and over and over again, and having to ban members who break out with bad behaviour becuase they think they are being ignored

Why exactly do we need it back? There are usually two different kinds of members banned now. N00bs who join and get banned on day 1 for spamming and stuff, and "important", or popular members who get banned and for reasons that are usually obvious.

well, at the end of the day, it is the mods word over the regular members

 

that thread, is just a respect to the members. Knowing what happens around the forum, and why it happens, is a priveledge, yes, but it shows respect towards the YCM members.

and i only ask it, for the "important" bans, the other ones, or just foolish, and a waste of time..

Draco apparently had trouble realizing why he was banned

as well as Meti

 

whom, both, sent members to ask

whom both, mainly Draco, have many members telling them things, couldn't tell them, Draco mainly, why they were banned..

Draco and Meti were both banned by YCMaker, and YCMaker says nothing, that is the only reason they had trouble understanding why.

Does it matter that everyone knows why someone was banned? It's not like it's some huge conspiracy or something like that. It's a forum, why lose sleep wondering why a few members were banned? Besides, YCMaker made it pretty clear that Draco was banned for trolling, flaming, and attempting to raid the forum. Meti was banned for swearing, and right before he got banned, he was being negative and provided no positive contributions to the forum.

All that does is create a bunch of unnecessary drama. Really, if a popular member gets banned, "yay/crap/*cry*/whatever", move on, it doesn't really matter.

On the subject of banning I feel as if some people almost have an Immunity to banning. As for the Ban Forum? Well if somone got banned and it was put up there then people would go on a Witch Hunt the moment the person returned. Jerry was a good example of that. A lot of bad feelings were felt that day.

I think he may be refering to Yugiohmasta 444. I clearly remember Frunk perma-banning, but he posted on many occasions afterwards. It wasn't until recently where FP "really" perma-banned him.

Well what i think about the bannings is that people dont deserve to be banned (except for what Meti did, we all know he deserved it but we didnt want him to actually be banned),people should have a secong chance, not being banned immiediatly, thats just wrong, i hope the mods take this into consideration.
