well i dont really understand this rule i always thought that in a deck 40 cards was the min. and 60 was the max' date='..hmm guess i need to redo my deck before i post it.

oh well

[/quote']

40 is the min.. There is no legal limit on size of deck. However limiting the deck to a maximum of 50 cards means that deck fixers dont have to remove 1/3 of a deck to make it viable

sorry wrong. as of sept 1 new rules state40 min 60 max

1-through 15 in side deck that means i can have a side deck with 10 cards and get this a max on 15 fusions/synchros in extra deck

They took out the side deck rule as well.

Yeah' date=' we all know. Including JoC.

We're just keeping it at 50 so we have to do less work. Anyone that uses more than 50 cards in a deck is a bad player.

That is completely untrue.

Also' date=' this is kind of a silly rule if you ask me.

[/quote']

It's perfectly sensible; no deck will ever need that many cards, and the only way members will be able to fix a deck like that is to remove lots of cards anyhow.

I stand by it.

The strength of your well-reasoned argument compels me. I wholeheartedly agree with you now.

And please try to refrain from posting such huge images.

Your suggestion has been duly noted.

"That is completely untrue" are the words that you posted. That phrase is not a statement of opinion, but rather an incorrect fact. In other words, you are irrevocably and irreconcilably wrong.

Also, by posting, you are giving us the implied right to critique your post. In fact, you cannot take that right from us, except through dormancy. (sentences using big words for dummies: You did not give an opinion. You are wrong, and further argument will make you look like a fool. If you post, we laugh. If you don't want us to laugh, then don't post.)

Pardon my apparently maliciously intended post. For, while my claims against you are true, not everyone is necessarily going to be a good player or a respected person when it comes to cards, and your apparent lack of those attributes does not preclude you from: A. Being a perfectly good/intelligent/nice/useful/important/etc. person in other areas of life or B. Becoming a skilled player/respected authority on cards in the future. And we enjoy poking at people who say foolish things, it is important to remember the reason for which we are poking at said foolish people: FUN. No harm is truly meant to come down on you. In fact, if anything, you should be glad of this sort of treatment, because it encourages you to improve in order to escape the laughter.

Wait. I'll ask this:

What if a particular deck has 50+ cards' date=' yet seems reasonably built?

Would you allow its existence for rumination by fellow forumgoers?

[/quote']

In the event that such a deck were to exist, it would be permitted. However, since such a deck has never been created, and rookies are constantly posting terrible 60-card decks, this rule is an excellent guideline for the infinitely vast majority of all cases.

so what about decks with 60 cards? are you locking them to?

-_- isnt 60 bigger than 50

that was along time ago genius.

anyway this rule isn't to bad but couldn't u post a seperate thread for decks with 50 or more cards in them? i would like that. and i am sure that the beginners would like it to. that way the beginners will get better and better until their was no need for decks 50+ cards. just a friendly suggestion.

The decision regarding that suggestion isn't up to the local Moderator. As much as I see no point to it, a suggestion like that belongs in Comments & Suggestions.
