Mr. Judgment Dragon
Then it would be locked. Still, you shouldn't even be running 50 Cards in a Deck. 40 - 45 is the acceptable range even though I still think 45 is too much.
Switchblade1
This stops me from getting help on my 60 card anti-attack deck which has won 3 tournaments against some of the top players in the US. I beleive that this is an outdated rule that needs to be updated to allow 60 card decks. who cares if people post more than 50 cards in their deck, it should be thier choice not some overzellous mod who feels the need to enforce a rule that goes against the rules of the game itself. Also i am proof that someone can use a large deck skillfully and not be a bad player. Calling someone a bad player cause they use more cards in their deck than most others, is a matter of opinion and could be considered insulting. in other words "50+ cards =/= Bad Player". Mr. Judgment Dragon
This stops me from getting help on my 60 card anti-attack deck which has won 3 tournaments against some of the top players in the US. That's because the opponents you duel are terrible players like you. I beleive that this is an outdated rule that needs to be updated to allow 60 card decks. who cares if people post more than 50 cards in their deck Good players who attempt to fix Decks care. Why the hell should I waste my valuable time that could be better spent having a life to fix someone's horrible excuse for a Deck. it should be thier choice not some overzellous mod who feels the need to enforce a rule that goes against the rules of the game itself. It is by no means against the rules of the game. No one who is good at the game can be expected to fix a 50+ Card Deck. Our Moderator here is one of the best players on the entire Site. Questioning him as well as any good player on this site is a bad move on your part. Also i am proof that someone can use a large deck skillfully and not be a bad player. Calling someone a bad player cause they use more cards in their deck than most others' date=' is a matter of opinion and could be considered insulting. in other words "50+ cards =/= Bad Player".[/quote'] The fact of the matter is that you are a bad player if you use more than 45 Cards in a Deck. It may seem good to have more options but as a matter of fact, you have a terribly inconsistent Deck that holds you back from drawing much needed stuff. I even think 45 is too much but Decks like Stall and Gadgets actually have good reason to run 45 Cards in a Deck. tl;dr version: This stops me from getting help on my 60 card anti-attack deck which has won 3 tournaments against some of the top players in the US. Guest
Guys, it's an account with one post that does a ridiculously exaggerated version of the rook argument against Rule 50 with obvious fabrications. Don't the two of you think it might just possibly perhaps be a joke account rather than a serious post?

Switchblade1
not a joke account, just a real player who actually does play well with a large deck. It is the only deck i built that is that large. my other decks are 42 card Tele-Dad, a 40 Lightsworn, a 40 card Light Machine deck that i built for fun play. just because they are one of the best on the site doesn't make them a good player. I bet the top players at my locals and my region could easily beat him. The reason i have one post is because i never saw a reason to post till I read that crappy rule. The mods that dont want to bother helping with a large deck doesn't need to, but making a rule just so they dont have to look at a large deck is retarded. I love to help with decks large and small, and i know many people who are willing to help anyone regardless of how new or bad at the game they are. I do know that some of the top Player's in the world have lost to noobs on occation, and i bet that this site's "top player" has lost against a noob a few times. everyone regardless of how large or small the deck should beable to recieve help on this site. My 60 card deck will be appearing at Counsil Bluffs, IA's Upper Deck Day on the 6th. Seeing as how the mods here also have no real clue on what flamming really is seeing as how i see alot of flamming on this site including from the mods. Mr. Judgment Dragon
Something must be wrong with Photobucket because I cannot see that picture. Upload it to Tinypic. Here's the Link in case you need it: http://tinypic.com/ Someone asked this question and received the following response: Wait. I'll ask this: What if a particular deck has 50+ cards' date=' yet seems reasonably built? Would you allow its existence for rumination by fellow forumgoers?[/quote'] In the event that such a deck were to exist, it would be permitted. However, since such a deck has never been created, and rookies are constantly posting terrible 60-card decks, this rule is an excellent guideline for the infinitely vast majority of all cases. The Dark One
Ok, post a picture that has a piece of paper in it that says switchblade, so that we know it's you. And that paper must be halfway in the hardcase, and creased along a vertical line, so that we know it wasn't edited in. Also, post your decklist here so that we can laugh at your terrible card choices.
Switchblade1
I'm terrible at editing photos and dont have photo editing software so if i were to ad a slip of paper with my sn in it, it wont be edited in regardless of how i put it into the hard sleeve. As for the Deck list, it will be posted later. Sorry for the quality, also new pic is at a different angle for you. also sory for the larger size of the pic, it was difficult to read the paper at a smaller size. Put the inserted edge of the slip BEHIND THE CARD jabroni! Lol, I'm just kidding. Well, though I still can't be certain as to the truth of your claims (It's mathematically provable that a deck with a larger number of cards is significantly worse than one with a smaller number.) this is enough to make me pause in my ranting. So, I'd like it if you could post the decklist for us. That way we can actually examine it on its merits. If we still don't think the deck is any good, then there are still quite a few other possibilities.1. You went and bought a Des Volstgalph, for whatever odd reason.2. There wasn't anyone remotely good at your UDE day.3. You actually did manage to edit a photo, decreasing the quality to be less obvious.4. You printed the card out (or otherwise falsified it, perhaps Japanese or something), and decreased the quality to make it so we couldn't tell.5. You borrowed it from a friend / stole i from a stranger And if it does turn out to be a good deck? Well then, it was a learning experience for all of us. Guest PikaPerson01
The Deck Limit rule is stupid. Particularly because it limits threads like: "Hey guiz, help me think of what cards to take out of my Lightsworn deck! [insert 51 card Deck Here]." Just seems like an arbitrary line in the sand, when there's already an arbitrary line in the sand created by the people who made the game. Rather then saying: "Too bad. It's against the rules." It'd prefer to hear as to why it's against the rules, because it makes things inconvenient for people? How about instead making a rule where people have to say how many cards are in their deck in the topic title so people can choose which topics they decide to stumble into? However, You're only allowed to have 60 cards in a deck in total, in the game. So your deck is indeed illegal.
CardTimeNow
I just don't like the assumption that having over 50 cards in your deck automatically makes the deck bad and the deck-user bad that many people seem to be making in this thread. I agree with PikaPerson01. If someone's posting a deck with over 50 cards, they can state that in the title. Everyone who doesn't want to look at it doesn't have to.
