Aximil
I don't mean to sound like a noob, but, me and my friends have been wondering why cards that allow players to draw ( like Pot of Greed ) are banned or limited. Would someone mind answering that for us?
Yogg-Saron
Because, drawing cards from your deck is a HUGE advantage, as you could always draw that card you need to lock the duel and win.
Aximil
Then, shouldn't all drawing cards be banned?
Tickle Me Emo
not all deserve the ban. Upstart doesnt, for example.
Aximil
Because it gives your opponent 1000 life points. But, shouldn't poison draw frog, Jar of Greed, and other cards like them be banned though?
Tickle Me Emo
poison draw frog: Not sure what it doesJar of Greed: No cause its a trap and can be easily stopped and destroyed before its activate able.Other cards: What else?
Yogg-Saron
Jar of Greed is a Trap, which makes it not as playable as a Spell draw card. Poison Draw Frog has to be face up when it is destroyed and only has 100 ATK, also it is slower than a Spell...
Aximil
There are tons of cards that let you draw cards.

J-Max
Most Draw cards are +0 Meaning that you Pay to Recieve. For example Destiny Draw requires the Spell Card and a Destiny Hero to Draw 2 Cards. Trade-In requires the Spell Card and a Level 8+ Monster. You get the idea. Cards like Pot of Greed were banned due to it being a Instant +1. Aximil
How is Jar of Greed allowed to have three copies? It doesn't have a consequence.
J-Max
It requires setting on the Field also it is a +0 and can easily be stopped by Monsters like Jinzo. As I said before as long as there is a Price then it should be fine.
JesusofChaos™
Because it is a trap and it only allows you to draw 1, people use reckless greed instead
Tickle Me Emo
3-Hump Lacooda: Weak card, only way to swarm it is with IFS. Bad card is bad.Airknight Parshath: 1 tribute for a 1900. It deserves the limit due to its trample ability.Alchemy Circle: You take some serious damageAlien Grey: Must be flipped up before being attacked and destroyed.Allure of Darkness: Card itself isnt good. Other cards used to be really abusable with it, but due to the mid format change, its not broken. Should be at 3.Avatar of the Pot: Pot of Greed is banned.Batteryman Micro-Cell: Look at Alien GreyBountiful Artemis: Needs specific kind of cards, which are hard to use anyway. Only abusable with Bribe and Solemn.Broww, Huntsman of Dark World: Gotta be discarded. Only useable in specific deck types.Card Trooper: Mill deck, powers up, draw card when dies? Deserves banlist.Chainsaw Insect: Opponent draws, not you.Coach Goblin: Weak monster, no hand advantage. Cyber Archfiend: Easily destroyed, low attack makes easy to kill target. Must have an empty hand. Cyber Jar: In a nut shell: Swarm field, draw cards. Broken card is Broken. Cyber Phoenix: Weak monster. Only 1 card. Dark Mimic Lv1: Weak Monster, only 1 card, flip effect makes target for NoC and Mystic Swordsman Dark Mimic Lv3: Weak monster, only 1 card.Dekoichi the Battlechanted Locomotive: Draw 1 card only, needs other face up weak monsters to draw more.Des Lacooda: Must be flip summoned.Destiny Hero - Defender: Opponent draws, no you. Destiny Hero - Disk Commander: Alone not broken. Other cards make him the most abusable thus the most broken draw engine in game.Electric Snake: Its gotta be discarded from your opponents card effect. Elemental Hero Bubbleman: For this to work you need to have been Chaos Emped and then drawn this on your next turn assuming you lived the emp. Fiber Jar: Broken card is broken. Flying Saucer Muusik'i: Tribute monster with 1000 atk. Opponent needs to attack it to get it face up. Who would atk a monster that takes a tribute? Freed the Matchless General: A repeating RotA. Deserves limit or ban.Helping Robo for Combat: No hand advantage. Will finish tomorrow.
