~Red-Eyes Twin Dragon~ A Good Quality Red-Eyes Monster?

As I am tired of seeing screw-ups of my favorite little pet, I made this.

*NOTE* Pic was edited by me and belongs to Konami.

Effect/Lore: "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" + "Red-Eyes B. Dragon"

When this card is Fusion Summoned, apply the appropriate effect according to the number of Life Points you have:

- 600 or more: This may attack twice during the Battle Phase of this turn.

- 500 or less: As long as your Life Points remain below 500, your opponent cannot activate cards that include the effect(s) of destroying card(s) you control.[/align]

Mike2084, you are now officially one of my favorite Card Makers! :D

The Red-Eyes Black Dragon was the first Yu-Gi-Oh card I ever got and I always wanted to see a card like this. Excellent job on the image. OCG does need a bit of work, but still a nice effect.

I'm giving this card a 9.5/10. Keep up the good work!

Nice, nice. A great spin on an old favorite.

But... DonRoyale is mistaken.

"...your opponent cannot activate cards that include the effect(s) of destroying card(s) you control."

As it stands, it needlessly creates a redundancy that acts as an unnecessary failsafe for cards with more than one card-destroying effect.

This phrase is more streamlined: "...your opponent cannot activate cards that have an effect that destroys card(s) you control."

This would prevent any card that can destroy cards you control from being activated. The best part is, it catches multi-effect cards as well. Yay!

One more thing: the meaning of putting an "s" in parenthesis means that it could be plural, but doesn't have to be.

The way it's worded right now, "cards" must be plural, because there is no article to make it a valid singular noun.

To make it grammatically correct: "...your opponent cannot activate cards that have an effect that destroys a card(s) you control."

Now, it can be singular or plural.

Please, please, people. Don't get all caught up in OCG that you forget actual English grammar, which all OCG is based on (surprise!).

...so I'm a grammar nazi. Sue me.

8/10, because I actually feel that it's underpowered. You could use it for an OTK of some crazy sort, but that's about it.

Well, be a grammar nazi. I predicted I was wrong, and here you are correcting me. In the end, it helps clean up OCG mistakes.

That was a good contribution. Even though it's not my thread, I'd like to personally thank you for that post. It's a very descriptive and helpful post. :)

Cool effect but maybe you could raise the amount of Life Points for both effects. Also' date=' you need a better picture for this card since it almost sounds like a real card.

[/quote']

It is a real card, just with an extra head. And obviously it sounds like a real card, because there is Cyber Twin. Plus, if you look on google or some other image search engine, you will see horribly done Red-Eyes twins. So I thought I would keep it simple without making it a crap quality picture or noob card. Thanks for the comments as well!

I already know Red-Eyes is a real card, since it WAS my favorite Dragon-Type monster. I was just saying this card seems like a real card to me, although there's no such thing in the TCG. This picture isn't horrible but it needs more work.
