Talk about Final Fantasy X

In the US version of the game' date=' most of the Overdrives are underpowered compared to that of the Japanese and European versions of the games. In the US version, Anima's Overdrive can hit once for 99999 damage. In the Japanese and European version, it hits multiple times. Since there are more hits and since you get Anima pretty late into the game, it's possible to do over 99999 damage. Also, in the European and Japanese versions of the game, you can fight Dark Aeons and some other secret boss with some godly amount of HP. Actually, all of them have a godly amount of HP.

It's actually the international version you're thinking of (I have it). The original Japanese and European versions are the same as the American version. However, the trend with popular Square Enix games is usually to have a "Final Mix" or International version created. These versions typically come with a slew of additional features, bosses, abilities, etc., and are usually only released in Japan (which leads many to believe that that's just the Japanese version when it is, in fact, a remake).

All titles of Final Fantasy X are the same - Final Fantasy X: International Version, however, is the one with all the features Slime Lord was talking about.

I also agree that FFX was too easy - but hey, I can't help but love it.

Oh yeah. Oops.

Didn't both Europe and Japan get it? How is it "International" when only two regions got it?

because it was something that normally would have been Japanese exclusive that got shipped outside. Besides, all you need is a boot disk and you can play the Europe version on an American PS2.

Also, FFX can be played in either English or Japanese - player's choice. ^^ to Jspamax, I found some parts hard, but most of it was not TOO challenging. I had a hard time with the first couple Seymour encounters, Evray (spelling?) on the first playthrough (didn't have Underdog's Secrets), a few others. Penance (international ver.) and the Dark Aeons (ditto) are royal pains.
