Hmm. Disturbed. The band with down with the sickness. It's good for 35 seconds, then dies. It's like watching reruns of Coheed and Cambria singles. Urgh. Hmm. Linkin Park is one of the best bands I know. You should check out their previous work, similar to that of your beloved Disturbed. As for the Band breakdown:

Chester: Best screamer on tour. Also has wonderful soft voice like in some of their songs.

I like disturbed but there are bands I prefer over them. I do like how they stick to an agressive style where as most mainstream metal bands have this idea that putting out shitty pop rock makes them cool (see metallica)

Disturbed is my favorite band (it even triumphs over Lamb of God in my list). However, I was kind of dissapointed with Indestructable. Sickness was their best album, then Ten Thousand Fists, Indestructable, and then Believe. They did a well job considering that Indestructable was the first album they did alone. Also Perfect Insanity is one of their older songs (I had it downloaded in 2005).

 

Overall a great Alternative/Metal band. They are definately better than Avenged 7x.

But Waking The Fallen (Album) is better than all of Disturbed's albums, except Indestructible, and that is only because Facade, The Curse, Indestructible, and The Night are four of the best songs ever written.

I dont think the vocals are heavy enough. But you are right, the lyrics are very nice. They should have some lyrics like Children of Bodom or Lamb of God and they would be set. :D Sounds very nice though.

 

They are better than CoB. LoG is mad good though, and I will not have a discussion concerning them, unless we are talking about how they totally annhilate Killswitch Engage.

 

I like the whole Melodic thing, and I don't like it too heavy because once its just screaming that you can't understand, it becomes noise. Remains best song ever, or at least top 3.

Its mad good, and your list is backwards. Waking the Fallen was Avenged's best album, the new one for A7X has a lousy first 4 songs, and the last 6 are tight. Disturbed's new Album has stuff I can listen too all the time, and two of the 4 best lifting songs ever. (Indestructible - Disturbed, Perfect Insanity (new version) - Disturbed, Zetsubou Billy - MtH, Feuer Frei - Rammstein) I don't particularly like Torn, Divide, or Deciever, and Criminal a little more than I like those, but they are still good songs, just can't hear them all the time.
