EFFECT: Once per turn, you can discard 1 card from your hand to add 1 Level 3 or lower DARK monster from your Deck to your hand. Apply one of the following effects based on the turn in which that monster is Summoned after this card's effect was applied:

 

1st Turn: The selected monster may attack directly. Any damage inflicted by the selected card is halved.

 

2nd Turn: You can Release the selected monster and 1 other DARK monster you control to increase the ATK of this card by 800 points until the End Phase of your next turn.

 

3rd Turn: If the selected monster is destroyed as a result of battle during this turn, you lose Life Points equal to the ATK points of the destroyed monster.

But nice pic and effect, you can add SANGAN or SPIRIT REAPER to your hand I like :)

If the pic wasn't overused then it would be 9/10!

 

EDIT: DonRoyale: has a good point!

Your effect doesn't say "once per turn" so you can add the whole of EXODIA to your hand in 1 go (If you have 5+ cards in ur hand)

 

Maybe edit it, to Once per turn?

i don't see this effect more complex than my joker fiend.....Though i have to admit u did a good job.........but im being sincere right now............this card is not very useful,unless if u have a deck full of Dark monsters........i give it though an 8/10 for encouragement and keep making cool cards

Oh, jeez. Enter-happy much? ^^ There shouldn't be those big spaces between lines. In fact, there shouldn't be different lines at all. Your different effects should be separated by one of those big dots (which can be created on Paint, so no excuses! ^^).

 

Now that you've edited the effect to "Once per turn", there's more balance to your card (btw, the torso of "Exodia" is a lvl 4, but its still good that you've edited that part of your effect). However, I still see opportunity with "REBC", "Spirit Reaper", "Sangan", and a whole bunch of "Destiny Hero" monsters.

 

The card's effect isn't very complex either. It's just a 2-jointed effect with a bunch of results. If you want a complex effect, don't make a bunch of results, create a chain of stuff ("If this, then this" kinds of cards). I think limited to 1 per deck

 

So the OCG is off, but that's an honest mistake. The balance of this card is close enough, but your ideals didn't exactly make it (I stand by what I said, this is not a complex card). However, the aesthecity was pretty much perfect! Your picture looks good, there wasn't a circulation, and the name is fine (I think there should be a dash between "Storm" and "Calling" = "Storm-Calling Dragon"). :mrgreen: nice job!
