Kocrow17
This is going to be my first new set in quite a while, so go easy on me, lol. The idea is that the "clouds" overcast the field from your hand. Sometimes, they may even rain down big heavy monsters. I never liked the word "Cloudian", and when I heard Cloud monsters were already coming out after I had this idea, I threw it in the corner, only to revive it now!
Overcaster NimbusWind/Warrior/3/800/800While this card is in your hand, play with it revealed and apply the following effect:- Your opponent cannot draw outside his/her Draw Phase. Overcaster Stratus Wind/Spellcaster/3/700/1000While this card is in your hand, play with it revealed and apply the following effect:- While there are less cards in your hand than your opponent’s, increase the ATK and DEF of all monsters you control by 200. [Thanks for the help, Yankeefan!] Earthbound Warrior, NimbostratusFire/Warrior/6/1900/2400 “Overcaster Nimbus” + “Overcaster Stratus” This card cannot be Fusion Summoned. If the above Fusion Material Monsters are in your hand, you can return 1 of them to your Deck to Special Summon this card from the Fusion Deck. While this card is attacking, it gains 500 ATK for each Spell and Trap Card on the field. [Changed the first sentence to better fit the support cards. I also upped him to Level 6 to put him out of reach of Instant Fusion.] Forecast Normal SpellDiscard 1 card. Select 2 “Overcaster” cards from your Deck. Your opponent chooses 1 of the selected cards and it is added to your hand. The other selected card is removed from play. Then, during your 2nd End Phase after this card’s activation, if you have less cards in your hand than your opponent, add the selected card that was removed from play to your hand. [Forgot to add the bolded part in when I first posted...] Rain HeavyNormal TrapDiscard 1 “Overcaster” monster from your hand and Special Summon 1 “Earthbound” monster from your Fusion Deck that lists the discarded monster as a Fusion Material Monster. The Special Summoned Monster is returned to the Fusion Deck during the End Phase.
Overcaster CirrusWind/Machine/2/400/1200While this card is in your hand, play with it revealed and apply the following effect:- Once per turn, if a monster your opponent controls attacks, you can inflict 300 points of damage to your opponent. Overcaster Cumulus Wind/Dragon/2/1000/100While this card is in your hand, play with it revealed and apply the following effect:- All monsters on the field with 0 DEF are destroyed. Earthbound Machine, Cirrocumulus Earth/Machine/7/2200/2200“Overcaster Cirrus” + “Overcaster Cumulus” This card cannot be Fusion Summoned. If the above Fusion Material Monsters are in your hand, you can return 1 of them to your Deck to Special Summon this card from the Fusion Deck. When this card destroys a monster by battle, increase this card’s ATK and DEF by an amount equal to the destroyed monster’s DEF until your next Standby Phase. When this card is destroyed, the difference between its ATK and original ATK is dealt to your opponent as damage. SunshowerNormal SpellActivate only if an “Overcaster” card is in your hand. Inflict 400 points of damage to your of damage to your opponent for each card in your hand (excluding “Overcaster” cards) and increase your Life Points by half of that amount. Thunderheads Normal TrapSpecial Summon 2 “Thunderhead Tokens” (Thunder-Type/WIND/Level 4/ ATK X/ DEF X). The original ATK and DEF of these Tokens are equal to the number of “Overcaster” cards in your hand x 800 points. These Tokens cannot be used as a Tribute in a Tribute Summon. More cards coming soon! All the cards you see will eventually be featured in my Yu-Gi-Oh Fanfic, A Turn in Destiny. Click on the banner in my sig to check it out!
Guest JoshIcy
Overcaster Nimbus: Graveyard Protector says "Hi"... Overpowered...Forecast: If it keeps going like this, it might be overpowered with a little swarm... Fusion is unique though ^_^ Me like :P
Mr. Judgment Dragon
Grave Protector is hardly used these days. Anyway, pictures look good and original, effects seem pretty balanced but I would consider them overpowered if they were any more powerful, OCG looks good to me. I cant see any errors. Very good overall. Keep up the good work. 10/10.

Kocrow17
Overcaster Nimbus: Graveyard Protector says "Hi"... Overpowered...Forecast: If it keeps going like this' date=' it might be overpowered with a little swarm... Fusion is unique though ^_^ Me like :P[/quote']Every set needs something that will give it an edge. I know I'm pretty much walking the thin line of overpoweredness, especially with Nimbus... Forecast seems find to me, but I'll take suggestions on how to change Nimbus. Grave Protector is hardly used these days. Anyway, pictures look good and original, effects seem pretty balanced but I would consider them overpowered if they were any more powerful, OCG looks good to me. I cant see any errors. Very good overall. Keep up the good work. 10/10. Thanks^^. I'll watch my future effect to ensure they don't tip the balance. Awesome (wow I'm beating a Super Mod on posts ^_^) ~ Atomix™...A Super Mod who's been gone for the past 4 months. :P what do you mean by "play it revealed"? While the cards are in your hand, you have to show them to your opponent.

Kizzi
Since NS is a fusion, shouldn't you have to return both cards? Anyway, the set's fine so far, but could easily become broken.
bury the year
What's with the OCG on the first two? I don't understand. EDIT: You're fan-fic-ing again? YES! I'm always available for ideas. ;)
daxinator
alright man you still got the magic touch I really don't what that means but yeah! 9.45/10 good cards don't see any overpowered cards.
Yankee
Hmm...Well, I know I have been gone for 6 weeks, but I would like to know, why are you back Kaze? I remember you saying that your not coming back and that you keep your word and all that... Ne way', I am gonna rate the cards, so don't worry (xD). Card 1: Interesting idea, While it's in the hand, and is revealed, it has an effect. The effect is very basic and strong this one however. Also, I think it should be, "As long as this card is in your hand..." But then again, i'm sure you have already checked how the grammar should be ;) Card 2: The same grammar issue with me, but, as said above, i'm guessing you looked this up. The effect is, again, very basic, and like before, just like other spells and traps, and yet, is just a lil overpowered. While it's only 200, it seems to have no downfall to it, and actually opens the door to other cards like it. Heck, having just 2 of these in your hand can kill your opponent. Card 3: Overpowered is what comes to mind with it. By just getting rid of only 1 card in your hand to the Deck, where you can draw it again later, you can have a monster, with the possible boost of another overcast monster in your hand, with the ability to have 500 or more ATK when it attacks. BTW, that ALL spells and traps, so, beware to the opponent... Card 4: Still strong to me..While you have to discard, you do get a monster in your hand that increases stats or kills opponents stratigies while it's in your hand. This would be O.K if not for the fact that you can still get the other card back. And with the way the these cards would be played, having less cards in your hand than the opponent would be a sinch. Card 5: At first look, it seems increadibly overpowered. But after more looking, it's actually, well, just overpowered. You get this stupid strong fusion, Earthbound Warrior, Nimbostratus, or another that has yet to be made, and he has the ability to be increased by stratus if you chose to keep him, or heck, you can just have 1 overcast monster in your hand, instead of 1, and still play him. So, while he is only there for 1 turn, he goes and returnes to the fusion deck, so, this can be used again. So, before I do my rates, I would like to say that it is nice to have you back kaze, and I look forward to seeing more from you soon. But i'm also gonna have to say, that these have alot of issues... Card 1: 7/10 Good start to an idea, but basic effect with it kind of doesn't help. But a good old 7/10 aint' bad, as I just said, it's a "good old rate" ;) Card 2: 7.5/10 A lil overpowered, but the fact that you have to have MORE cards in the hand than the opponent does save it a lil. Card 3: 2/10 It just seems so increadibly strong to me... (This rating is subject to change, I may change it if a good argument for why it's not comes up. I am just saying it looks strong to ME.) Card 4: 8/10 It's ok, Just has a open possibility to being overpowerd, but on a straight, non review type look, it's balanced. So, 8/10 is good ^_^ Card 5: 4/10 This is just strong if your using the earthbound monster that has been posted so far. I have no idea whats to come, so, i'll stick to 4/10. It's a good idea, but..you can use it twice for one fusion monster, and the fusion monster goes to the fusion deck again. Also, there are way to many ways to get cards from the grave (Card you discarded) back to the hand... Overall: 5.7/10 Well, sadly, this doesn't seem to be a grand comeback, but its a sign that God Kaze is back, and that he will be posting more cards. Who knows, this can actually turn out to be a great set ^_^ Sorry for the low rate man, but it's great to see you back. I look forward to seeing more from you soon ^_^ Cheers,Yankeefan
Kocrow17
Hey, Yankeefan! *cracks knuckles* let's see what we got here... Hmm...Well' date=' I know I have been gone for 6 weeks, but I would like to know, why are you back Kaze? I remember you saying that your not coming back and that you keep your word and all that...[b'][Well they started this new policy that if I don't mod, I'm no longer a mod. This account is too large a part of my legacy to let it became "average". I'd rather stay here, as a chained god, then lose my status.] Ne way', I am gonna rate the cards, so don't worry (xD). Card 1: Interesting idea, While it's in the hand, and is revealed, it has an effect. The effect is very basic and strong this one however. Also, I think it should be, "As long as this card is in your hand..." But then again, i'm sure you have already checked how the grammar should be ;)[The grammers fine as the effect only applies while it is in your hand, as dictated by the first sentence. I agree that this one card is overpowered, I'm starting to have regrets about it. Not sure how to fix it though...] Card 2: The same grammar issue with me, but, as said above, i'm guessing you looked this up. The effect is, again, very basic, and like before, just like other spells and traps, and yet, is just a lil overpowered. While it's only 200, it seems to have no downfall to it, and actually opens the door to other cards like it. Heck, having just 2 of these in your hand can kill your opponent. [Hmm, now that you mention it, I think it should say "While you have LESS cards in your hand than your opponent". I'll fix it tomorrow when I post the next 5 cards.] Card 3: Overpowered is what comes to mind with it. By just getting rid of only 1 card in your hand to the Deck, where you can draw it again later, you can have a monster, with the possible boost of another overcast monster in your hand, with the ability to have 500 or more ATK when it attacks. BTW, that ALL spells and traps, so, beware to the opponent...[This card seems fine to me. It still retains 2/3 of a situational fusion summon, and 1/2 the cost. But the important part is that it keeps things at a "0". You lose a card, and gain a card. Even if you return the card to your deck, Forecast is the ONLY way you can search for it again. Don't forget, this card only gains attack while attacking, not while being attacked, so he falls victim to Cyber Dragons and Monarchs and even a few LV4 monsters. Also, if your opponent has 2 set s/t, chances are Nimbostratus is not going to live long enough to make a direct attack.] Card 4: Still strong to me..While you have to discard, you do get a monster in your hand that increases stats or kills opponents stratigies while it's in your hand. This would be O.K if not for the fact that you can still get the other card back. And with the way the these cards would be played, having less cards in your hand than the opponent would be a sinch.[Forecast automatically set you at -1. You lost it and the card you discard and only gain 1 card (That your opponent chooses). You've even pulled one of the vital cards you need from your deck and risked losing it for the remainder of the duel. During your next turn, forecast's rules states that you need to have less cards in your hand than your opponent so it almost forces you to set Spells and traps you'd normally save, leaving you crippled if hit by Heavy Storm. The Overcaster you gain that turn doesn't even help you until next turn, if its effect still applies to the situation. It's actually just a weaker version of "Return from the Differenet Dimension".] Card 5: At first look, it seems increadibly overpowered. [This card is a -1 and semi-situational. The fact it's a trap doesn't help either, slowing it down drastically considering it's pratically useless to use during your opponent's turn. Not only that, but since you lose the monster at the end of turn, the effect progresses to a -2 and all you have to show is an "Overcaster" in your graveyard you can't get back to use.] So, before I do my rates, I would like to say that it is nice to have you back kaze, and I look forward to seeing more from you soon. But i'm also gonna have to say, that these have alot of issues...[The issues seems less grand when you factor in the gains vs the losses. Thanks for the hardcore review, this is the sort of stuff I like. I'll be changing card #2 like I said, and trying to think of a way to change the first card.]

Kocrow17
Thanks for the praise, guys^^. I'm not a fan of the "real" pics either, but I didn't feel like searching through DA for cloud paintings that may not even fit the card name. If I ever find some, I'll replace them.
