Why do people even believe in good things anymore

People who believe in good things are not fools. They are merely deceived. Now that I think about it, I can't remember the last time anything good has happened to me... The world won't last forever; we'll run out of resources eventually and perish like we never existed. It makes me wonder if that has anything to do with it... D:

. If you feel lie you're in a living hell then try to get yourself out of it.

Sort of impossible since it's not I that causes my eternal hell, it's a combination of parents and people, backstabbers I tell you, I have met millions of them, they use you until they get what they want from you then shows that they don't want anything to do with you

How do you see life exactly? Huh? You think it's all some sort of game and when you die that's it? Wrong answer. Life is preparation for heaven. Jesus will come and save us so repent while you can. I am Christian. I believe in God and I'm proud of it.

I hate that. If I could round up all the people that stabbed me in the back in my life time' date=' I would put them in a giant oven and literally make them burn in Hell HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Jigsaw did it. O.o".

Try being a little more.. Homicidally original.. =].

Backstabbers deserve revenge, not becoming muffins.

I'd recommended acting like you're falling into their backstabbing trap thingo like an idiot, and then backstab them back.

...

Even then, I still wouldn't rule out the oven idea.

=].

(Oh, and ashje, you epic, epic person. I'm Christian to.. Just.. Afraid to be so vocal about it. ^_^.)

Allow me to speak up. With everything that has happened in my life, I wonder if there is a God or not. OK. I have lost friends, relatives, I have an illness that is with me for the rest of my GODDAMN life. I have few friends. I know how to pick my friends. I always pick them carefully. I have many enemies, most of which have judged me when they dont even know me. Do you think it's fair? There is no God. Not from where I stand in life. Not from what has happened to me.

But, regardless of what I think and my views on religion, I still respect your beliefs whether I like them or not. I dont know you so it is not for me to judge you. It's not my place to do so.

God is a belief' date=' if you believe he is there he is, and if you dont, he isnt.[/b']

So if you believe he is there, you have no choice but to believe he either likes to watch / inflict hurt on people, or has no control over it.

If you dont believe, then you just simply say, thats life.

This is true but as you see there is more than one religion so you are shifting to another religion. In here we have this "Devil" thing. They say always call god when these things happen. They say "God please Help me" when you say this the devil will go away. Now what you wrote Remix is just pure evil. If you think there is no god then thats up to you but to give up hop thats bad. Just giving up is something bad. You won't just leave the things you failed at.

Now I've just said a bit if your really want to listen to me then do it. If you finally want to give up then it's up to you after all.[/align]

What was I thinking? I should use power tools instead (gas welder FTW). They seem more fun.

Nor am I judging you. All I am saying is life is basically a test sometimes. Ever heard of the story of Job? He believed in God and did everything God asked of him, but Satan told God that he would curse Gods name if he had everything taken from him. So God said ok you can take everything from him but do not harm him. Job was a rich man (Lots of sheep/cattle and stuff) and had alot of children (7 I think). One day his children and all his livestock were killed in different ways. But Job did not curse God. Then Satan told God that if he was sick he would curse Gods name. So God said ok you can make him ill but do not kill him. So Job was covered in painful boils. His pain was so great that scratching the boils with the sharp end of a broken pot would feel slightly better. But Job still did not curse Gods name. His wife told him to curse God and die but he did not. Finally in the end he asked God "Why?" and God got angry. God said " Who are you to say this? Did you make the earth? Did you tell the sea to stop where you wanted it?" Find a bible for the rest 'cause I can't remember what Job said but my point is that life may be a test at times but hang in there. Soon Jesus will come and save us. Just wait. I'm not judging you. All I'm saying is don't look for someone to blame for your problems. That's human instinct. Do not conform to the patterns of this world.

Ok in muslim version it's different. You see in here God has a book that tells him each person when he will be born and when he will die. Now another thing we have is 2 angels on our shoulders one puts marks when you did or do something good. And the other is the opposite. He puts marks when you do bad things. After this all happened and the world will end. God brings every dead man/woman to life and see if they'll go to heaven or hell. But there will be tests. Anyway, in our version Job was a poor man and named something else. God made him ill, blind, and more things but God only did this to see if he waits and don't complain like the other people. And this poor man succeeded and became a profit (I think) This is just story the others are really good.

'life is hard' get over with it

just live in it there is no afterlife and such' date=' just enjoy it as long as you can

[/quote']

What is there to enjoy?

All my life, I've been betrayed by people I thought were my friends

Only to find new "friends" who do the same

Is that what there is for me to enjoy?

Constant betrayal? Alone in a cruel world....

If that is what there is for me to enjoy, then what is the point in life?

And if there is no afterlife, then our lives really are just pointless

If that is the case, then doesn't the drive to 'Live life to the fullest because you know there aint nothing better' take over?

And clariex... Come on, I would expect you to wanna at least see the happy ^_^ Everything has its joy, from Failure to Success. Its part of a cycle that makes us who we are.... Just EMBRACE that cycle :P

I tried thinking positive, even when I was on my own, with no one

But all that did was get me hurt inside by those I trusted

I've given up on ever being happy

In a world where no one questions what they do, and they accept it. Where time seems to stop, one person tries to push forward....

That was I. Alone in a thought, alienated from everyone...

And yet I managed to find happiness. Never give up on that feeling, it may take on a form you never thought possible..... (In my case someone I could trust and confide in. Rely on and whatnot)...

Stuff happens. There were, are, and probably more to come points in life where I want to do things that I would regret. ( No explanation needed, and I've been through a lot of stuff ) I've been betrayed, and all of that jazz but I got over it with the help of my girlfriend Sophie. I don't know where I would be without her. I like my friends, and love to hang out with them, but I realized that the only person who can really look after me in the end, is myself. That's mostly the reason why I keep everything to myself. A fake smile for the people around me. :/ But there's also the many great times I've had. Not something I'd often share but, meh.

Basically, do what it takes, change your life. Or live with it until you're older. Move out, start fresh. Don't blame god for your problems

My thoughts:

God could be real, he couldn't. That's irrelevant to the topic at hand. Considering the fact that he mentioned god is pointless. I assume that he pretty much was asking what the title insists. Maybe searching for an explanation to the hell he's endured? Consistently I see threads like this; but everybody is always displeased with the responses they get. It's the same old wrap; take care of it yourself blah blah blah blah....

I think that life is unexplainable. Nobody can explain why life exists. Nobody can create a fully functional tree from scratch. Life is what it is. Sometimes it sucks, sometimes its good, it's just life. Blaming god, if there even is a god, is pointless. Seems to me like a lack of responsibility. Or maybe an attempt at being an outcast? Look, basically all I'm trying to get across is that God isn't responsible for anything that happens to you. Other people or animals or something of this world is releveant to what happens to you. All I can say is have a better attitude or take a stab at religion. Either way you're probably going to end up happier than you were. If I were you I would look for a source of the problem, find out what the problem is, try my best to thwart it (not by killing or beating or anything), and see what happens.
