"Pokemon, Volume 2" Scyther and spell card added!

Well, I have decided to go ahead and, well, make another pokemon card, and maybe a few more. This is the first one, Absol.

 

I ADORE Absol. He is my fave pokemon NOT named Groudon. He also happens to the pokemon I am on the pokemon personality quiz ;)

[spoiler=Card Lore]When this card is Summoned, if there is a face-up Field Spell Card on the field, place 1 Chaos Counter on 1 face-up Field Spell Card on the field. If a Field Spell Card with a Chaos Counter on it would affect the Attribute of a monster(s), it is treated as affecting all monster(s) with the same Attribute as this card. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, the Attribute of this card becomes the Attribute of the destroyed monster. If there are no face-up Field Spell Cards on the field when this card is Summoned, place 1 Chaotic Land Counter in your Field Spell Card Zone. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, while there are no face-up Field Spell Card(s) on the field, you can pay 500 Life Points to place 1 Chaotic Land Counter in your Field Spell Card Zone. Once per turn, during your End Phase, by removing 3 Chaotic Land Counters from your Field Spell Card Zone, you can select 1 Field Spell Card from your Deck and place it face-down in your Field Spell Card Zone.

 

 

 

 

Charmander, a great pokemon. As you raise him in pokemon, he gets to be one of the strongest startes you can get. He, bieng fire, is tough to raise though, but it's worth it. I tried to make it's effect kind of similar ;)

 

 

[spoiler=Card Lore]If this card was Summoned by the effect of "Charmander", increase the ATK of this card by 300. When this card attacks an opponent's Defense Position monster with a DEF lower than the ATK of this card, you may decrease the ATK of this card by the difference to have this card attack once again in a row. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, place 1 "Flame Counter" on this card. During your Standby Phase, you may remove 4 "Flame Counters" from this card is Special Summon 1 "Charizard" from your hand or Deck.

 

 

Charmeleon, a awsome evolve pokemon. Pretty much a Charmader with a Charizard attitude. I have always loved the power and look of this guy. I tried to make it's effect match that.

 

 

[spoiler=Card Lore]This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "Haunter". When this card is attacked by an opponent's monster, you may decrease the ATK of this card by 1000 to negate the attack. If you do, the opponent's monster is changed to Defense Position. The Position cannot be changed except by card effect until the Main Phase of your opponent's next turn. During your Standby Phase, if there is a monster on your opponent's side of the field in Defense Position because of this cards effect, decrease your Life Points by half of the DEF of the monster. If this card attacks an opponent's Defense Position monster, you may negate the attack. If you do, increase the ATK of this card by half of the DEF of the monster this card attacked.

 

 

Gengar has got to be one of my fave ghost type pokemon. Sneaky and just plain mean, this is a pure ghost pokemon. I tried to give it's effect somthing like Dream Eater ;)

 

 

Ah, the old semi-legendary Lapras. Always been good, and, in games like Pokemon Gold/Silver, when you used surf, the shape of your pokemon was a lapras. He is truly the face of water pokemon.

 

 

Seviper is one of my fave snakes in pokemon, ekans has nothing on this guy. A pure poison pokemon, that means snake more to me than Ekans. This is just a guy I wanted to make for fun. It's effect pretty much uses a evasive attack, such at smokescreen, wich, a poison pokemon would have ;)

 

 

The old Rival of the above card, Seviper, this pokemon usually tries to overdo everything, including it's attacks. It is a strong fighter, but it just has some issues. I have made it's effect show this.

 

 

[spoiler=Card Lore]When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, all monsters with an ATK lower than the destroyed monsters ATK cannot declare an attack untill your next Battle Phase except by this cards effect. When this card destroys a monster with the highest ATK on your opponent's side of the field, skip your next Battle Phase, and all monsters with 1000 ATK or less on your opponent's side of the field can attack directly during their Battle Phase. If your opponent inflicts 1500 damage or more to your Life Points, end the Battle Phase and inflict damage to your opponent equal the amount of damage you received -1500.

 

 

My favorite of the Legendary birds of Red/Blue/Yellow games, Articuno has always been a nice guy to turn to in a tough situation for me. The ability of it to destroy the tough guys for you is great. It leaves the weaker pokemon in awe with it's power at times. I made this effect show that ;)

 

 

[spoiler=Card Lore]This card is also treated as Thunder-Type. Once, during your Main Phase 2, you may discard 1 card from your hand to destroy 1 card on your opponent's side of the field. If the destroyed card was a monster, decrease the ATK of this card by half of the original DEF of the destroyed card. If the destroyed card was a Spell, decrease the DEF of this card by half of the original ATK of a face-up card with the lowest ATK on the field. If the destroyed card was a Trap, increase the ATK of this card by the amount of cards in your opponent's Graveyard x100.

 

 

The 2nd of the 3 birds, Zapdos. He is strong, and can destroy pretty much anything. The main flaw to this is that it's kind of hard to control him, and becuase of that, you may destroy somthing you may not want to. The effect shows this ;)

 

 

[spoiler=Card Lore]This card is also treated as Pyro-Type. AS long as this card remains face-up on your side of the field, your opponent cannot play monsters in face-down Defense Position. During battle between this card and an opponent's monster with a DEF lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as battle damage to your opponent's Life Points. If this card inflicts 600 or more damage to your opponent's Life Points with it's effect, all battle damage involving this card during your next Battle Phase is reduced to 0. During your End Phase, if this card did not inflict battle damage to your opponent, inflict 400 damage to your opponent's Life Points.

 

 

And the final of the trio of Ice, Thunder and Fire, Moltres. Just being around moltres can be painfull, with it's fire all over it's huge body. With it's dive bomb, it can creat massive damage, but it leaves itself weak after the attack, if it did it wrong that is. I tried to show this with the effect.

 

 

 

[spoiler=Effect]During battle between this attacking card and a Defence Position monster whoes DEF is lower than the DEF of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points. When this card is selected as an attack target, you may change this card to Defence Position. If you do, switch the ATK and DEF of this card untill the end of the Battle Phase.

 

 

 

Tyranitar is easily one of my fave 2nd generation pokemon. Although it looks like a strong ATK pokemon, it actually is a great Defensive beast. But it has the ability of changing from defensive to offensive and back easily. ;)

 

 

 

[spoiler=Effect]Inrease the ATK of this card by 100 during every 1 of your Standby Phases. Decrease the ATK of this card by 200 for every 1 of your Battle Phases that this card did not destroy an opponent's monster by battle. When this cards ATK becomes 2000 or less, this card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this cards ATK becomes 3000 or more, decrease your Life Points by 300 during every 1 of your Standby Phases.

 

 

Ok, it's Groundon. Just, my fave pokemon ever. Simply awsome. He is the lord of the land, and it truly a offensive pokemon. Though, it's power can become weak if it doesn't keep battling. Not alot to say here, sry, just, it's Groudon, nuff said, lol

 

 

 

[spoiler=Effect]Decrease the ATK of this card by 100 for every 1 of your Battle Phases that this card did not destroy an opponent's monster by battle. When this card destroyes an opponent's monster by battle, increase the ATK of this card by 100. When this card destroys an opponent's Defence Position monster, you can decrease the ATK of this card by 100 until the End Phase to have this card attack another Defence Position monster on your opponent's side of the field.

 

 

Scyther is the ultimate bug to me. It's fast, powerful, and cool looking. I don't know really what is bad about it. It's just plain my fave bug pokemon ever.

 

If you notice, I edited the pic, and made it so the pic of Scyther is actually going past the pic boundries. Easy to see, just look at his left blade tip, it's past the boundry, and so are his wings, and most of his right blade ;) Also, I made it darker around him and gave it a view as if it is a moving picture by darkening it around him, but also brightening up a few key spots ;)

 

 

 

[spoiler=If your increadibly lazy]During battle between the equipped card and an opponent's Defence Position monster with a lower DEF than the equipped cards ATK, inflict the difference as battle damage to your opponent's Life Points.

 

 

This is just to support Scyther with one of it's moves in the game, "Sword Dance". There will be more "Sword Dance" cards, but they will all be different ;)

 

I am also trying to find pics that can work for "False Swipe". It will go for Scyther and Absol, but I can't find pics. If anybody finds a good pic, they will get a + rep from me ^_^

You go through all that trouble just to get a Field Spell when you could just play Terraforming and get a Field Spell without waiting three turns.

What happens if you don't have that stuff? You don't even HAVE to wait man, its effect is for if you don't have one for 3 turns or so, you can use it's effect, the effect pretty much goes out the door once there is a field card...
