Bloodrun
Ok, this isn't a poll, nor really a discussion.Recently, i have noticed, that alot of the members, whom are actually appropriately stating their advice, are getting cut off mid-way, and shot down. Now I ask you, How can we change?Being the forum, the moderators, the rules, the members.Voice your oppinion, appropriately. No one will get cut off, or shot down. By no means, will I allow "harassment" or un-needed comments.Seriously, this is your one chance, to say what you think should be changed, added, etc.. Since, I dont have the power, to lock/unlock threads. This thread is in the hands, of the moderators. Which means, if it gets locked, it gets locked. But, on which basis, will it actually be locked on?Think about that... Subjects up for grabs:-The Star Rating System. (Some of our moderators, and members, think that this system is biased, and unfair, as the rating can be neglected in both good and bad ways.) -Post count in Introduction Forum. (Some of our moderators, and members, see that many other members, are repeatedly posting the same quick response, over and over again.) -Higher characters in required posts (myself and some members, think that the minimum amount of characters in posts should raised. as it forces people to be more constructive in their responses, and it easily sorts through what is spam, and what is not.) -Level of the warning systems points (some members believe that the set amount of points for some warnins are to high, and should be lowered)
Junk Raver
I want star ratings gone. I may consider going on strike, and giving up moderation all together unless they are removed. That is how much they annoy me.

Larxene
lolx wow Dj Anyway, I think post count in Introductions should be gotten rid ofThere are way too many people who post the same exact introduction in every thread, hoping to increase their post count
Huntar!
Star Ratings are an easy way to make people stay away from a thread. If its rated a 1/5, no one comments on it... they are pointless.. I dont know if we can 'change'. But unneeded comments and random ratings may be filtered out.. Maybe YCMaker can up the amount of characters that must be on a post... And to your last statement... it serves no real point in its own either... Guest KAJN
You, there are a lot of things. The new warn count............. I mean some people don't mean to be flaming or mean but they get 50% or whatsoever. The level. Why should we level our selves? It doesn't really make sense. We should not be promoting n00b going to newbs saying " Hey I'm a level for and your a level 1 so listen to me" we want give all that. The reputations, many people spam reputation and give un-needed reputations, some people even leave because they have a low reputation. We should change the avatar size, skins, etc. But that may not happen. Everyone has his advice right? But not many listen to it, they just ignore it, etc.Oh and some threads get locked for stupidity like someone make "Look at my newest post, etc, etc yadee yadee yad". And some just make threads they don't even respond to just to make more points and posts. If this satisfy you then yes I would like to change a lot of things. I beg of you. Prove it, and I shall show you, explain to you, and make you know, of what I mean. Only people who are always greetng people like Death Metal (That would make him mad when he comes back)AndGlassitin10. They're the only 2 people I see posting in almost every Introduction Thread. But some people who used to, would be shocked. So I wouldn't reccomend taking it away. But it is YCMakres decision, not ours.

Jerry OldMaster
Post count in games being stripped? Most of us stopped posting there for months. The postfest it's now consists mostly of new members who didn't know the post count increased there a time ago. I think some additional moderation attention should be spent in Polls :\ postfest in unnecessary threads there, too.
J-Max
I fought long & Hard to get Post Count turned off in Leaving/Return sure people still post there but a lot less often now. Introductions definately needs posts turned off. "Welcome to YCM" Is the most comon used phrase there and in a way it sickens me.

Kaitou Kid
What really annoys me is that even though it doesnt happen often people pass on words from banned members.Espically the ones that say that they will do something to the site. Its not gunna happen and you know that when you post that.So stop trying to invoke fear into people on this site.I dont think that should be allowed. And dont say its not because if it wasnt why are people still doing it and there is no punishment. Also i dont see a real difference in Help&Tutorial and QCS all the topics in both are really almost the same thing. They need to either be sorted out or merged. But un-banning draco wouldnt help the site' date=' except in debates, and for those members whom can stand him.[/quote'] Honestly if someone is perma banned 90% of the time (and that applies everywhere) it wont help the site to unban them. Static
Which is I, Comrade. To the Former Comrade Hamster (Still Comrade, but not hamster), I agree to a point. Posts under 10 chars. in Polls shouldn't count towards post count, but the thing is that people would stop going into polls other than to vote. That gave me an idea. If we keep points, you should be able to get points for voting in polls (one per poll) so that people actually vote in them, and results in polls actually getting more variation. One point per poll isn't that much, and it would only amount to something over months, especially if we got rid of post count there. Think about that. Warning Levels are fine' date=' If you dont want your warning levels raised, follow the rules, its simple logic[/quote'] Warning levels are bad. Warning level sales promote terrorism. Don't do warns. Larxene
Warning Levels are fine' date=' If you dont want your warning levels raised, follow the rules, its simple logic[/quote'] Exactly why I like the new warning systemThe only reason people are getting banned all the time now, is because they break simple rules repeatedly that they were never punished for before.
