Would you prefer to play under my banlist, or the one coming into play, supposedly? (Try very hard not to be bias if I hurt a decktype you like.)

I am absolutely infuriated about the potential September 1st, 2008 ban list. If this list is true, it shows that Konami has no concern for our meta or the flaws in it during anytime where there is no world wide compatition.

If I were in control of the list, there would be two purposes to it. One, of course, is to stimulate growth. Altering the game state can make the company money. But to me, a person making this list HAS to also play the game. Because they must also want to do something a simple tester wouldn't do; they need to actually have to deal with the environment afterwards. They need to be forced to play in the mess they created.

 

I simply want to vary the game up. I would have been so much happier with a list similiar to this:

I know my list may seem random, or out to destroy certain decktypes, but I promise you, it is not. It is trying to curb the capabilities of cards that are splashable. Also, I'm a big fan of drawing = special. the whole '3 of the same draw card' thing is not going over well with me. And, probably most obvious, I believe "remove from play" should most often truly mean "remove from play". As in, not instantly coming back from a non-themed card (like the Rock and Fairy monsters have).

 

Any one hate me or my list?
