Yeah, it's my first try on cardmaking.

 

Darkshine Series

 

=Darkshine Monsters=

[spoiler=Darkshine Warlord - Lunaris]

When this card is removed from play from your deck by the effect of a "Darkshine" monster, Special Summon this card. Once per turn, by removing from play 1 card from the bottom of your Deck, place 1 Darkshine Counter on this card. By removing 4 Darkshine Counters from this card, negate the activation of all Spell and Trap cards on the field for 2 turns, counting from your opponent's turn.

 

 

[spoiler=Darkshine Swordsman - Valcrist]

Once per turn, by removing from play 1 card from the bottom of your Deck, place 1 Darkshine Counter on this card. By removing 3 Darkshine Counter on this card, remove from play 1 card on the field.

 

 

[spoiler=Darkshine Princess - Helena]

Once per turn, by removing from play 1 card from the bottom of your Deck, place 1 Darkshine Counter on this card. By removing 3 Darkshine Counter from this card, destroy 2 Spell or Trap Cards controlled by your opponent.

Once per turn, by removing from play 1 card from the bottom of your Deck, place 1 Darkshine Counter on this card. By removing 3 Darkshine Counter on this card, return 1 card on the field to the top of it's owner's deck.

Once per turn by removing from play 1 card from the bottom of your Deck, place 1 Darkshine Counter on this card. By removing 3 Darkshine Counter on this card, destroy 2 face-down cards on the field.

Once per turn, by removing from play 1 card from the bottom of your Deck, place 1 Darkshine Counter on this card. By removing 3 Darkshine Counter on this card, destroy 1 monster on the field.

Once per turn, by removing from play 1 card from the bottom of your Deck, place 1 Darkshine Counter on this card. By removing 3 Darkshine Counter on this card, randomly discard 1 card from your opponent's hand.

 

 

[spoiler=Darkshine Scout - Marianne]

Once per turn, you can place 1 Darkshine Counter on this card. By removing from play 2 Darkshine Counters on this card, look at the top 2 cards of your opponent's deck. If the 2 cards have the same Card type, you can place 1 Darkshine Counter on 1 "Darkshine" monster you control, except this card.

Once per turn, you can place 1 Darkshine Counter on this card. By removing from play 2 Darkshine Counters on this card, select and see 2 cards on your opponent's hand. If the 2 cards have the same Card type, you can place 1 Darkshine Counter on 1 "Darkshine" monster you control, except this card.

You can Special Summon this card from your hand if you control at least 1 "Darkshine" monster. Once per turn, by removing 1 card from the bottom of your Deck from play, place 1 Darkshine Counter on this card. If this card has 5 Darkshine Counters, remove this card from play. If this card is removed from play from the field, distribute the Darkshine Counters placed on this card among the "Darkshine" monsters on your side of the field.

If this card was removed from play by the effect of a "Darkshine" monster, Special Summon this card. Once per turn, by removing 1 card from the bottom of your Deck from play, place 1 Darkshine Counter on this card. By removing 3 Darkshine Counters on this card, increase this card's ATK by 2000, until the End Phase. Any Battle Damage that this card inflicts is 0 when this effect is activated.

 

 

[spoiler=Darkshine Commander - Randolf]

If this card was removed from play by the effect of a "Darkshine" monster, Special Summon this card. Once per turn, by removing 1 card from the bottom of your Deck from play, place 1 Darkshine Counter on this card. By removing 3 Darkshine Counters on this card, Increase the ATK of all Face-up "Darkshine" monsters you control by 200 for every Darkshine Counter placed on them, until the End Phase. Any Battle Damage that any "Darkshine" Monsters would inflict is halved when this effect is activated.

 

 

[spoiler=Mirana - Goddess of Radiant Hope]

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play 2 "Darkshine" monsters from your Graveyard. Increase the ATK and DEF of this card by 1000 for each "Darkshine" monster you control. Each time a "Darkshine" monster you control is removed from the field, place Darkshine Counter on this card equal to the Level of the removed monster. For every Darkshine Counter placed on this card, increase your Life Points by 500. Remove 5 Darkshine Counters on this card to inflict the damage equal to the difference between your and your opponent's Life Points. When this card is activated, this card cannot attack.

 

 

 

 

=Darkshine Spells=

You can only activate this card during your Main Phase 1, and only if you control at least 3 "Darkshine" monsters. Remove 7 Darkshine Counters on your side of the field to remove from play all cards on the field, except "Darkshine" monsters. Any Battle Damage inflicted by "Darkshine" monsters after this card's activation is halved.

 

 

[spoiler=Desperate Measures]

Increase the ATK and DEF of all "Darkshine" monsters you control by 300 for each Darkshine Counter placed on each card, until the End Phase. Remove all Darkshine Counters placed on all "Darkshine" monsters at the End Phase of the turn this card is activated.

Each time a "Darkshine" monster attacks or is attacked, place 1 Darkshine Counter on 1 "Darkshine" monster you control. You can only activate this effect twice per turn.

When this card is activated, you cannot activate any other card whose effect includes placing of Darkshine Counters. Select 1 Monster Card from your hand, field, or Graveyard and remove it from play. Place Darkshine Counters on "Darkshine" monsters you control equal to the Level of the removed Monster card. You can only place up to 2 Darkshine Counters per card.

 

 

 

 

=Darkshine Traps=

Select 1 "Darkshine" monster you control. Whenever a monster is Summoned on your opponent's side of the field, place 1 Darkshine Counter on the selected card. When this card is removed from the field, remove all Darkshine Counters placed by this card's effect.

You can only activate this card when a "Darkshine" monster with at least 2 Darkshine Counter is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard. Special Summon the destroyed card on the End Phase.

 

 

[spoiler=Darkshine Spell Reinforcement Team]

Remove 2 Darkshine Counters on your side of the field. Activate one of the following effects:

· Select 1 Spell Card removed from play by the effect of 1 “Darkshine” monster and return it to your hand.

· Negate the activation of 1 Spell Card that targets 1 “Darkshine” monster you control.

 

 

[spoiler=Darkshine Trap Reinforcement Team]

Remove 2 Darkshine Counters on your side of the field. Activate one of the following effects:

· Select 1 Trap Card removed from play by the effect of 1 “Darkshine” monster and return it to your hand.

· Negate the activation of 1 Trap that targets 1 “Darkshine” monster you control.

This card can only be activated if you control at least 1 "Darkshine" monster. After activation, Special Summon this card in Defense Position; it is treated as an Effect Monster Card (Fiend-Type/LIGHT/Level 6/ATK 0/DEF 2300). Once per turn, you can select the target of 1 of your opponent's monster's attack to this card. If you do not control a "Darkshine" monster, destroy this card during the End Phase.

 

 

 

 

…and a some sort of Special Card for the Darkshine Series…

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play 3 "Darkshine" monsters you control. Once per turn, by removing 1 card from the bottom of your deck from play, place 1 Darkshine Counter on this card. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, remove 5 Darkshine Counters on this card to remove from play all cards on the field and on both player's hands. If this effect is activated, this card cannot attack.

These are errors I'll list off as I see them, and comments too.

 

-"deck" should be "Deck"

-The card sent from the Deck should be random or from the top, or you're risking setting up some huge combos with other cards not related to the series.

-"Face-down" should just be "face-down"

-"Monster" doesn't need to be capitalized, either. Unless it's saying something like "Fusion Monster", "Normal Monster", etc.

 

Overall, OCG gets a 7 in my book.

BTW, another guy also created a Darkshine monster other than the ones I created. The card he created may be affected by Darkshine Siege's effect (unless, of course, he disagrees). Just to mention as a note for balancing Darkshine Siege's effect.

Just a sec, bro, I didn't quite get that. n_n

 

Were you pertaining to the "This card cannot attack on the same turn that this card's effect is activated."? This effect refers to the activation of the second effect of that of that particular Darkshine Monster. Even if you activate the first effect (...place 1 Darkshine Counter on this card...), you can still perform an attack with that card.

 

Hmm...is there something to fix with the ordering of the effects?

On my comp it says Bringer Of The Apocalypse made the first post therefore starting the thread, but he didnt, Bren_Da_Mage did. Is anyone else having this problem?
