Cin
More logic fail - Identical twins of different genders (Rua and Ruka) Anime commonly follows its own sets of rules, so you have to ignore TCG/OCG rules when watching the anime, such as limited cards and banned cards, and remember GOD Draws, where the characters do the impossible with decks that shouldn't be so good. Some cards were changed in the anime thanks to the TCG/OCG namely CyDar (From all cards in grave to just monsters), and some cards watered down. One E-Hero from the Manga came out too early to get its Manga equivalents full effect. (I think it was E-Hero the Heat). More often than not particularly in 5Ds and GX the anime card was before the OCG. And don't post logic fails from the dub, because those guy's logic always fails. bury the year
Could anyone explain to me what kind of rules were in place then in that part of the anime? 2000 LP' date=' no direct attacks, no tributing, and physics applied. Wow, that'd be pretty awesome is physics became an aspect of game mechanics. And suddenly we're going to have massive debates over the validity of Solemn Judgment since that's chained to the existence of God.[/quote'] How would athiests play Solemn Judgement, then? Doom™
I think in 2nd season where Yugi duels B. Keith when he is controlled by a guy, he takes 2/3 cards from his pocket and Yugi doesn't even noticed the increase to Keith's hand. And first season was stupid with all the mistakes, too. Especially the no tribute thing. But that was sort of ok, they only attacked with 1 monster each turn anyway. Can't argue with that. EDIT: I remember something else, don't know if it belongs here. When Judai is dueling Sartorius, Sart plays a card that makes him take a card from his deck, but instead, 4kids are so stupid that they make him say "I take a card from my hand" instead of deck. Supernova513
The biggest fail at logic and most cheap tactic in the first season of Yu-gi-Oh! was Kuriboh and Multiply. they made it where Yugi could have millions of monsters on the field at once when you only have 5 monster card zones :/ Another cheap thing was Magical Hats, mystic Box, mammoth graveyard "fusing" with BEUD, and don't forget Kaiba reviving a BEWD head from his BEUD. ANIME RULES =/= TCG or OCG RULES This is really starting to annoy me. The only true mistake was the miscalc in GX 139 - 3200+1050-2400=1950.....when actually it was 1850, big mistake coz Haou won with 50 lifepoints. Most mistakes made are usually 4Kids added ones. I'm minorly surprised that GX didn't change E-Hero Flame Wingman's effect, but by 156 if they changed it to [this monster cannot be special summoned except by fusion summon], that would screw the true result of Judai Vs Manjoume in 2, which ended as a draw, but if played fully would have ended in Judai winning with E-Hero Flame Wingman (resummoned by Monster Reborn), if the dubbies saw that they'd probably mention that. Wouldn't that mean the pharoah would have to go too considering that he is merely a host to Yugi's body? It completely denys the laws of physics. And now to deplete the seriousness of this post.
