chimeraoverlord
I'm not a noob, to the game. I've been playing since I was five, and now I'm fourteen. I practice making decks a lot, using websites that sell singles and looking at the cards, blah blah blah...But when I was little I made the mistake of never buying boosters, only decks and tins every now and then. (I did get some boosters) But now I want to make a really great deck that I can actually own! Instead of looking at them online. I can't decide on a strategy, though. But that's not the point. I don't get an allowance anymore, or have a job. So I'm kinda short on money Budget=0. But for Christmas, I plan on getting the cards to make a deck that I want. Here are the things I need help with: 1) Deciding on a good stable strategy. 2) Finding a place to get cards that isn't too expensive.
Tickle Me Emo
If you want to build a good deck netdeck a deck around here or look at the topics that the good deck builders have made, including (but not limited to) Tonisanoob, Jesusofchaos, Sayain Knight (I think thats his name) and apparently me as well. BTW Im pretty sure Crab or JoC will lock this topic.
Mr. Judgment Dragon
Here's a pretty cheap Dragon Synchro Deck. Extra Deck: 13 3x Five-Headed Dragon3x Stardust Dragon3x Goyo Guardian1x Red Dragon Archfiend3x Cyber Saurus Monsters: 20 3x Blue-Eyes White Dragon2x Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon1x Prime Material Dragon3x Masked Dragon2x Magna Drago2x Dark Resonator1x Twin-Headed Behemoth1x Breaker the Magical Warrior1x Snipe Hunter1x Exiled Force1x Sangan1x Exiled Force1x Morphing Jar Spells: 17 3x Trade-In3x Instant Fusion1x Reasoning2x Dragon's Mirror1x Future Fusion1x Monster Reborn1x Heavy Storm1x Giant Trunade1x Lightning Vortex1x Brain Control2x Enemy Controller Traps: 4 1x Torrential Tribute3x Karma Cut A pretty cheap build and actually kinda competitive. the Goyo's are the only cards in here that will cost a lot. Everything else in here is relatively inexpensive. The Blue-Eyes Toon Dragons are for Trade-In and are also Fusion Materials for Five-Headed Dragon. With the 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons, if you have or can get a Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, by all means put it in here as it is still a decent beatstick that can easily be Fusion Summoned with Dragon's Mirror. Use Future Fusion to put the 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons into your Graveyard but dont select Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon as the Fusion Monster youn wanna summon. Since Five-Headed Dragon can use any Dragon as its Fusion Material Monsters, dump 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons and any other Dragons. If a Blue-Eyes ends up in your hand when you dont want it to, Snipe Hunter, Karma Cut, Lightning Vortex and Trade-In can help you out. Avoid Tribute Summoning Blue-Eyes as much as possible as there are cards in here that can Special Summon him. Stardust and Prime Material Dragon help protect your monsters from being destroyed. Red Dragon Archfiend has the same ATK as Blue-Eyes and punishes your opponent for trying to defend themselves. Dont be too worried if you dont own a Mirror Force. Torrential Tribute does basically the same thing except it destroys every monster on the field and you dont have to wait for your opponent to attack.
