Prices differ due to location and economic climate.

 

The theory behind it:

The BigMac Index - The theory that the dollar should buy the same in every country (in the theory its the McDonald's BigMac), determined by exchange rates and the time taken to earn the money.

Anywho, prices are different in different countries because of how much effort it takes to get supplies there. They are $2 in china (?) most likely because they dont have any close cheese factories. -_-
