MasterOfMagicians
If you are having a difficult time jumping, then maybe you should get yourself into an exercise program, or at least a daily exercise regiment. Walk for 30 minutes a day, and make sure you walk fast. You aren't going to get anything accomplished by walking at a comfortable pace. You should be sweating hard and breathing heavy when you are done. When walking fast just isn't fast enough, run. Run for 30 minutes a day and keep going and keep going until you are confident you can run longer (usually when its not a challenge anymore). Then run for an hour. Whatever your reason for not being able to jump (unless its a bone structure problem, then ignore this), you'll be able to run, jump, sprint, etc after about 2-4 months (longer if its a weight issue). Best of luck
Kizzi
I did half a mile in fifteen minutes (I'm not really slow, just lazy). So, what would 200m be? Somewhere around 5 minutes?Edit: Oh, wait. I missed the "run" part of the title. I don't run more than 100m unless I want to.
MasterOfMagicians
a half mile in fifteen minutes? I can walk that pace. That's not really a run, more of a VERY light jog.Push yourself. You'll be surprised at what you can accomplish when you do that. Set a goal, and go achieve it, just because you can, not because you have to.

I'm probably not much faster now (if I am at all)
MasterOfMagicians
Exercise is just as useful as learning how to make things and education.Exercise, when done regularly, will actually give you energy to last throughout the day. If you are feeling sluggish now, it is probably because you are not exercising. Go out and run for a while every morning to get your blood flowing and to wake you up a little. You'll feel great afterwards (especially after a shower) and you'll have more energy to go throughout the day. It also keeps your health up. Regular exercise combined with a healthy diet and multi-vitamins will keep you from getting sick, especially when everyone else is. It will keep your immune system strong and will react faster to bacteria and disease than someone who does not exercise. It is also a great way to stay in shape. If you are someone will a low metabolism who likes to eat alot, running for even 30 minutes a day will greatly improve your health, and increase your total lifespan by up to 10 years! Luna Lovegood
MoM, I swim 5 times a week for 1 hour competitively. I suck at running. Am I lazy?
MasterOfMagicians
No, swimming is a great way to build arm-strength, and upper body strength. It will also incrase your endurance.Nothing improves running but running. If you want to get better at running, you have to run. Just like if you want to get better at swimming, you have to swim.Same general concept.
Kizzi
Exercise is just as useful as learning how to make things and education. If they're equal' date=' then it puts it down to personal preference. My preference is education and creativity. Exercise, when done regularly, will actually give you energy to last throughout the day. If you are feeling sluggish now, it is probably because you are not exercising.I'm not feeling sluggish now, despite not having much sleep over the past week. Go out and run for a while every morning to get your blood flowing and to wake you up a little. You'll feel great afterwards (especially after a shower) and you'll have more energy to go throughout the day.Yeah' date=' there's a problem. I need to wake up enough to be able to run first. And about 10 minutes after that, I'm completely awake. It also keeps your health up. Regular exercise combined with a healthy diet and multi-vitamins will keep you from getting sick, especially when everyone else is. It will keep your immune system strong and will react faster to bacteria and disease than someone who does not exercise.I'm rarely sick. And being sick isn't necessarily a bad thing (in most cases) as it gives me an excuse to lie down and think about stuff. It is also a great way to stay in shape. If you are someone will a low metabolism who likes to eat alot' date=' running for even 30 minutes a day will greatly improve your health, and increase your total lifespan by up to 10 years![/quote']I only eat when I'm hungry. Which isn't too often.
Luna Lovegood
Wrong, MoM. By building quads, i help everything that uses quads, which includes running.
MasterOfMagicians
Really? With that logic, then why do you suck at running? The only thing that improves running, is more running.Just because you work the quads, doesn't mean they are used to a different kind of exercise. In the water they may be uber-powerful and get you going. On the land, they may be strong, but their endurance is not built to be able to handle that kind of motion, on that kind of surface, for said amount of distance. Luna Lovegood
With your logc, if I lift a lot of 100 pound weight, I will not improve my lifting of 50 pound weight.
