Should Treeborn Frog be banned next format?

Note that I am not saying that, if there was only 1 slot for a new banned card that this card should be banned over DAD/CCV. Instead, I'm asking if you could ban any number of cards next format, would you include Treeborn Frog in your bans.

 

And then I'll compare this topic to the previous one I made.

Regardless of whether or not it's doing something, it should be banned, Who knows? Konami might get smart and fix next format to the point where Treeborn is a threat, in which case it should be banned with the rest of the cards that get banned.

 

Bottom line: Yes, It's banable under any circumstance.

meh, i havnt seen much talk about it in a long time.

 

when you see a discussion on decks and themes, most people are mainly going to LS, DaD, Glads, and Zombies. Treeborn frog, however fun it is to use in LS, isnt very effective in any of those decks...

 

and Plants will have their own summoning power in Gigaplant and Lonefire, so it isnt needed their either.

 

yeah, you get a basically free special summon. But that doesnt set up for much in this meta, and what the meta will be, from what i can see.

i don't think Treeborn is bannable.it's not seen in many,if any,decks.though i do have one,i hardly use it.there are better conitional SS cars,like Wulf.

Wulf = If you're lucky, you can Special Summon this once.

 

Treeborn = Infinite tribute engine.

It doesn't matter what meta we're in, a card that give almost infinite tribute is bad for the game, and as such should be banned.

Admittedly, Treeborn Frog is far from the most broken card that is currently legal, and if we are given a limited number of changes to make to the banlist then banning it would be far from our first priority. But that doesn't change the underlying fact that it is banworthy.
