The Dark One Posted September 29, 2008 Report Share Posted September 29, 2008 Aurkas' effect does NOT suck, it's simply that his low ATK makes him unable to easily stay on the field long enough for his effect to matter. He blocks gyzarus, but that doesn't mater because Darius will just railroad over him in his way to that damn fusion. He stops up Snipe, but so? Snipe can kill him too. etc. etc. If Aurkas had 1800 ATK, I think he would be used at at least 1 copy in the average Lightsworn deck. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Aurkus + Jenis + Lightsworn Barrier + Trap protection cards and maybe + that Lightsworn field spell = a slow and painful death. At any rate, change bother their art suck to tie, as that's an option I don't think anyone would choose. Also, what I was saying earlier about overall art improving. I was just pointing out that Aurkus can easily be defended with cards that go with LSs like Shield Warrior or Lightsworn Barrier. And, I changed my opinion again.
