Yes' date=' but x saber isn't all tuners is it?

It just happens to be one of the best.

However, Wanghu effectively kills Rescue Cat Sync since it won't let Summon Priest or Rescue Cat to go off.

Wanghu also stops Psychics, so that's a major plus.

You can recall priority on both of them, so it hurts Summon Priest but it doesn't touch Rescue Cat. The opp. could get out Rescue Cat with Summon Priest and again recall prior on Rescue Cat if he just wants to go with Goyo.

Oh wait, he has to be running Des Wombat or Guard Dog for the Rescue Cat target to survive both...

Nevermind, this card hurts them both.

This card is awesome when used with The Wicked Dreadroot.

Unfortunately' date=' Dreadroot sucks.

Ditto.

This card can destroy almost any synchro.

It should be limited in 5D's then.

:S

Since when do any Synchro have less than 1400 attack?

Anywho, This + CCV = lollockdown.

No.

Mandatory Trigger Effects are compulsory; when activated, you must go forth with them, even in cases where you'd normally have Turn Player Priority.

Turn Player Priority gives the Turn Player several rights. However, Priority NEVER circumvents the Chain Rule.

Your above quote implicitly implies that Cat is not hurt by Wanghu. This is incorrect; Cat is affected by Wanghu in precisely the same way Priest is.

When a monster eligible for Wanghu is Summoned, Wanghu immediately activates, as it has a Mandatory Trigger Effect.

Turn Player Priority only grants the Turn Player the right to be the first player to voluntarily respond to something that has happened in the game, by activating an Ignition Effect, a Spell Speed 2 effect, or a Spell Speed 3 effect.

In contrast, Mandatory Trigger Effects completely do away with voluntary responses; Wanghu doesn't wait for its controller to say "k, Wanghu, go get your dinner." Rather, Wanghu just sees the weak little shrimp and goes to get its dinner. Wanghu MAKES ITSELF Chain Link 1, and there's not a bloody thing that the players can do about it. This is how all Mandatory Trigger Effects work - they MAKE themselves a Chain Link as soon as legally able, skipping any and all voluntary activations in order to do so.

All Ignition Effects, by definition, are voluntary activations. Priest and Cat both have Ignition Effects; therefore, their chances of Priority use are nil while Wanghu's effect is waiting.

However, here's the REAL spin on the matter.

Priest has 1 Ignition Effect and 1 Mandatory Trigger Effect.

This Mandatory Trigger Effect activates when Priest is Normal or Flip Summoned, so in most cases, you won't be able to use Turn Priority to activate Priest anyway - Any time that Wanghu would be able to go after Priest, Priest wouldn't be able to make use of your Priority anyway.

[Too much to quote]

Ah' date=' thanks for clearing that up.

I had some kind of feeling I was wrong, but I wasn't sure.

No, that doesn't even work, as you only have Turn Player Priority to activate Spell Speed 2 or higher effects after the resolution of a Chain wherein a Summon is Negated.

When a Mandatory Trigger Effect is waiting to respond to a certain type of Summon, there is NO WAY for either player to use Turn Player Priority to activate the Ignition Effect of a monster in response to a monster being Summoned through the type of Summon that the Mandatory Trigger Effect uses as a Trigger.
