When you make a graphic art...

...What do you think about when you are using GIMP or Photoshop to make a graphic design like a cyber-signoture or cyber-avatar, etc? This question rattles my mind and I only have my own answer to think about.. And I would like to know some other answers.

 

My answer is that when I make a graphic design, I think about the emotion I want the graphic to express. Alot of my influences come from emotions, because it makes the graphic seem more realistic and it expresses the sort of feeling that you want a viewer to receave when they look at your design.

I'm a man of experimentation. I enjoy messing with the Various Techniques and Filters. Also I do it for personal gain. (Renders)

If not, I let a natural drive go and just do my best...

First I just look at the render / stock and see where I need to do lighting, then I usually smudge or brush a basic background. Then I think about which bits look too plain, and fix that. Then I use tools to make it flow (if it needs it). Then I think about the composition and balance, add more stuff. Then I look colour-wise and see what needs improvement, and fix that with adjustments. Then I dodge and burn. Finally, I look if there's anything missing or wrong and fix that.

Think of the stock. Think of things that could be added which isn't really possible in the real world. I think of unexpected things. I go with the flow. I think of the depth, The zone. I think of Crab helmets awesome poems ^^. I think of designers. I think od the professional looking sites. I look at photography and photographers.

i look at the render, then i throw on music

let the music and render paint a picture in my mind then fallow.

if im making it for another person i take the style of the person what i know about them

and let that drive my pen
