CrabHelmet
Will Gladiator Beasts start main-decking Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror to try and stave off Destiny Hero - Malicious/Emergency Teleport combos? I thought SIM/Malicious was the same as SD/Exiled? Not sure about this one, though. Also, I scrolled to the bottom of the decklist and saw 3 Dimension Prison on the traps lineup. When did Dimensional Prison suddenly become good? I mean, it gets around Stardust Dragon by "removing" without "destroying", but aren't 1-for-1 non-chainable Traps still, you know, not that good? I thought SIM/Malicious was the same as SD/Exiled? Not sure about this one' date=' though.[/quote'] I dont think SIM will stop malicious because his effect activates while he is removed from play. removing him from play is the cost of the effect. Thats how Id rule it.
GenzoTheHarpist
I don't think SIM would stop Malicious since removal is a cost but it's a real grey area imo.
Psycho Shocker Android
http://www.metagame.com/yugioh.aspx?tabid=33&ArticleId=10195^^curtis answered SIM stops malicious since he is in the graveyard when you decide to activate his effect. Tickle Me Emo
now Im confused. i was always lead to believe when an effect moves a monster (ex graveyard to removed from play, or field to deck) the effect would activate from where the monster is now located. The judge at locals actually explained this at locals saying that SIM doesnt stop Gyzarius tagging cause his effect sending him back to the deck is a cost and it activates from the fusion deck, thus pulling out the 2 monsters. in the example it even said that cannon soldiers cost, if used on him with macro would remove him and the effect would go through cause when the effect resolves he is not on the field, he is removed from play. I is mad confuzzled.
Benraino
Both Mirrors only care about WHERE the effect is activated. It will negate the card no matter where it resolves, if it was on the field or in the grave.
Tickle Me Emo
i just reread the article and now it makes sense. When I first read it I misread the cannon soldier thing, thinking it said that since he is removed after its effect has activated it worked. My bad =)

Guest PikaPerson01
The funny thing with metagame is the have mini orgasms over any semi playable card and try to make the card seem uber good Is it any worse then some YCM member that have enormous orgasms over most unplayable cards and try to make them seem uber good? Yes, because nobody takes YCM seriously, whereas bad-players-who-want-to-look-good worship Metagame as the Holy Divine Word Of All That Is Good.
